Given the hotel's price, there's definitely room for improvement overall.

The room was clean and tidy overall, and the service was excellent. There was construction noise from the subway being built in front of the hotel. It should be very convenient to get here from the airport once the subway is open. Compared to other hotels in the same area, the price is relatively cheap, and the breakfast buffet at 10 yuan is such a great deal! I'll definitely book it again.

Staying in a Chinese-run serviced apartment in a foreign country (opposite Dragon City) was a great value. It's a short walk to Dragon Mart, and you can grab a bite at the food court on the second floor. The hotel staff were very friendly, and breakfast was also provided on the first floor. Highly recommended!

The hotel apartment is more than ten kilometers from the city center, not close to any tourist attractions, and opposite a large construction site (Figure 4). Besides the inconvenient transportation, it also presents several other problems: 1. Safety Issues The balcony door latch was broken, making it impossible to lock, posing a safety hazard. Upon requesting a room change, it turned out that none of the rooms we checked had locks that could be locked. In one room, only one screw remained to secure the latch, causing it to swing back and forth like a pendulum. Even the latch itself was unsteady; how could it possibly secure the door? We arrived at the hotel around 1 or 2 AM. Because the balcony door lock was broken, and the balcony overlooked the road (Figure 4), we were too worried about safety to sleep all night. 2. Fire Hazards Flammable items such as mattresses and bed boards were piled up near the room entrance and in fire escape routes (Figure 6), posing a significant fire hazard and hindering escape. 3. Hygiene Issues Cockroaches of all sizes were seen everywhere – in the passageways, on the room floors, and on the bedding; drinking water was left lying around, and the water outlets were easily contaminated by dust kicked up by passersby and crawled over by cockroaches; the ventilation vents were moldy and blackened (Videos 1-3, Figure 7); the walls had large stains; a quick wipe with a tissue revealed stains immediately (Figure 8); the bathroom facilities were covered in stains (Figure 9). 4. Inadequate and Dilapidated Facilities The bed, which should be the most comfortable for sleeping, was sunken in the middle, with even the pillow tilting towards the indentation; drawers in the cabinets were prone to falling off; the shower area was extremely small, only about 60cm x 60cm (Figure 10); the doors of the neighboring rooms, including my own, opened and closed very loudly, disturbing everyone. 5. False Advertising a) The platform advertised a restaurant with breakfast at 10 olms per person, but after contacting the front desk, it was discovered that there was no restaurant; meals (purchased from outside) were delivered to the room after payment. b) The platform showed a 24-hour front desk with Chinese (Mandarin) as the service language. When I arrived, there was only one Black woman, and until I left, there were only a few Black women. None of them spoke Chinese, and their English was not standard, which caused communication difficulties.

I extended the lease for another day. The bathroom is shared, but it is very clean. There are staff cleaning from time to time. There is hot water 24 hours a day. The only drawback is that the shower head is leaking.
