Valamar Tirena Hotel

Amazing hotel and fantastic staff they went over and above! Food was brilliant bar service was top and i cannot fault anything. Tonci at the bar is a geezer sand was amazing during the stay. Ivana sorted the late check out all in all a great team and a great hotel.

Lovely hotel , in a lovely location. Bus stop at the end of the road to get you to the Old town. Staff really cheerful and accommodating, especially with a baby. Breakfast was delicious. They cater for everyone. Pool area really clean and plenty of sun beds.

The hotel has been amazing . They have recently renovated and it has been one if the best holidays we have had . We stayed on a breakfast basis as we wanted to be able to have the option of eating out . They have a fantastic outdoor pool with lots of seating / chairs and beds and a small pool for kids as well as a larger one for adults . I don’t think anyone expected the weather to be this good hence the pool was still cold but we had such good weather . I loved the fact that we could also use amenities at the sister hotel as they have an indoor spa and swimming pool, lovely bars at both places . It was our anniversary recently and they organised for us to go with Eco Tuk Tours Dubrovnik around the high points of the island . It was an unforgettable experience and such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture . We really enjoyed it . I’m so sad to be going home and wish we had stayed longer . They have a lovely park , the kids club is brilliant and is open 9-9pm . Good breakfast buffet as well as dinner . They have a few cute restaurants 1 min away as well as some mini markets . A short bus ride away (bus stop nearby) you can get a bus to old town . This costs only 2 euros. With only a few teething issues around the air conditioning and safe , everything was brilliant . All staff were happy and helpful, the hotel was very clean : loved the music and singers in both hotels . Really reasonably priced drinks and food . There’s a restaurant at the outdoor pool which has lovely food and takeaway pizzas so you can eat by the pool . I cannot find fault and want to thank you for such an enjoyable and memorable holiday . I wasn’t sure what to expect but this has been beyond our expectations and cannot wait to come back . A huge thanks to Nikolina ( Guest Relations Manager) and all the hotel staff.

Wow!!! What an amazing hotel with fabulous friendly staff. Facilities were phenomenal and everything was super clean, and the food was even better. Staff worth mentioning are Milica, Toni, Ivana, Nevena, and Milan they are super kind, helpful and hardworking. I hope to return to this hotel in the future as my stay was so enjoyable!

Everything went smoothly from check in to check out,from service perspective. Had some issues with completely new doors & locks in the beginning, but things was handled professionally and problems solved quickly. The rooms were in great condition, as was the swimming pool, which had been renovated with a good taste.

Lovely hotel that ticked all our boxes. Very clean and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Had a lovely balcony overlooking the stretch of water that leads into Dubronik harbour. Our room also overlooked the entrance to the children's club building, but we were never bothered by noise. Situated near a complex of small touristy shops and some places to eat. Old Town is a 20 minute bus ride from a bus stop at the top of the road.

Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. Highly recommendable hotel. The stay was lovely, loved the breakfast which was included. The place was very close to the bus station. We had a wonderful stay at the Tirena.

A really lovely and modern hotel which is elegantly decorated. It sits on a complex with other hotels from the same chain in a peaceful forested area with a few beaches away from the city. There are buses to the old town or it is a short 10 min ride in a taxi (I would recommend using Uber which costs about €7 - we found with regular taxis the price could differ from €18 to €30 which was both insane and infuriating. Ubers arrive very quickly.) Between the hotel and the old town there is also a part of the city with restaurants and bars. The complex itself has a few shops, bars, and restaurants and a really nice holiday vibe to it. The pool is fantastic, and my son and I really enjoyed the water slides. There is a nice poolside bar plus a restaurant. My son loved the kid's zone Maro World which has PS5/X-Box, Lego, trampolines, and a soft play. I believe they also offer a kid's club where you can leave your children all day however we didn't use it. The breakfast is really extensive with lots of choice including freshly made omelettes to your specification. We didn't have an evening meal but it looked nice. The bar area of the hotel is also very relaxing with a large outdoor terrace. The staff were friendly and the hotel upgraded our room free-of-charge on arrival. They also let us check-out a little bit later as our check-out date fell on my birthday. We only stayed for 3 nights as we were travelling around Croatia but this was the one hotel we ended up wishing we'd stayed at for longer. We were visiting out of season and would love to one day return for a longer stay in summer, although Dubrovnik old town was perfect to visit in October.

Great property. Short walk to beach down a trail. Pool area was fantastic but pool water was very cold. Loved the water slide.
