All round my wife and I hade an amazing experience. From the great level of engagement from the team, especially Kat. Who made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. The cabins are great, incredible views and the facilities were first class. Would definitely be back.

Another amazing visit to this beautiful place. Peace and tranquility from start to finish. We stopped this time in the lovers lodge which I think is our favourite. I have mobility issues but everything here was exceptional and I easily managed all facilities including heat room sauna and outside hot tub which is fantastic. All your team deserve the highest praise and the addition of the fillet steak from your farm was exceptional. Looking at returning early next year hopefully. The arrival treat of local bread and marmalade is always welcome oh and not to forget the bottle of fizz. Thanks to you all

We first came to the Hideaways in 2014 and from the moment we arrived knew that we had discovered something not just special - it is unique! The location is tranquil, set in beautiful countryside. The accommodation has excellent facilities, with the highest standards of customer care with immediate response to any queries. There are many extra touches which set The Hideaway Experience above the rest - we love the hot tub, but there is also a sauna and relaxation room which create a private spa environment. Additionally, massage treatments can be booked, the masseuse will come to The Hideaway. It is the perfect place to disconnect from the busy-ness of life, but a digital detox is up to you - there is WiFi and state of the art tech with a Sonos system. Aside from an initial welcome on arrival and a quick daily safety check on the hot tub, you will not see anyone. This level of privacy is simply unrivalled. The website is user-friendly and with the recent addition of retailing their very own beef to guests, this time we added the ribeye steaks, burgers and sausages, which were in the freezer for us when we arrived - we received an email a day prior to our arrival asking if we would like any of this thawed for our first night, a thoughtful touch! It delights us to enjoy locally produced food and drink and we will definitely buy their tasty produce next time too. Though Dundee and the surrounding area has much to offer, we come for the peace, which is why this has been our 25th holiday here. The Hideaway Experience is quite simply unbeatable!

The hideaway experience was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, 5 star facilities and great staff. My husband and I spent my birthday relaxing. The accommodation is very well thought out, when we arrived it was warm and welcoming. Staff were available if we needed anything but gave us space so we could enjoy our privacy. It certainly felt like a hideaway and we will definitely be returning again. Would highly recommend it for a relaxing romantic break. Thank you so much!

Luxury Mini-Moon Stay! My husband and I arrived, wedding hair still in and car full of DIY decor straight after our wedding weekend, ready to relax and spend quality time in our new married bubble together. The honeymooners hideaway is the absolute perfect accommodation for this, the ‘lodge’ style home felt warm, comforting and properly luxurious. There wasn’t a small detail hadn’t been thought about by the team at the hide away, we were particularly greatful for the huge comfortable bed which helped us catch up on some well needed sleep and the sauna/hot tub were a real treat! We highly recommend opting for early check in to maximise the use of the brilliant facilities and relaxing vibe the hideaways have to offer- we stayed in the ‘Romantics’ cottage last year for a last minute get away and felt it wasn’t long enough! The kitchen facilities and BBQ were really well equipped, you can easily cook whichever meal you’d fancy. Or if like us you’re looking to really treat yourself you can order meat etc for the BBQ or the just eat app was very handy for take away deliveries. Dundee centre itself is less than 15 minutes in the car, but you really couldn’t feel further away surrounding by miles of fields and farmland, as well as being surprised by the most gorgeous sunrises and sets. All we can say is a huge thank you to the team at Hideaway for making our first week married so special, relaxing and enjoyable- we will 100% be back!!

We have had the most amazing 3 night stay at the Dreamers Lodge, staff were so helpful and such a lovely personal touch that someone will meet you after you arrive to check in that all is okay then we have not seen anyone other than who we met out a walk, it is like your own oasis. The lodge was immaculate and everthing you could need they have thought of! The hot tub for sunset was a highlight and we also enjoyed the local walks they recommend in the packs. We could not fault anything and will be booking again as soon as we get home. Thank you to everyone at the hideaway experience!

Just back from a 3 night stay in The Lovers. We are always excited to be back in The Hideaway we could never tire of coming here. With busy lives this is the place where we truly relax. As always the place is spotless and very cosy. It is so peaceful. We love sitting in the hottub with lovely views. Caroline Ross and all the team do a fabulous job keeping up the standards. The worst moment at The Hideaway is the day we have to leave.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough, everything was just perfect. The details in the accommodation were amazing including the nice touch of home made bread with condiments and a bottle of fizz. The property has all appliances and accessories you will need for a short stay. The view and quiet scenery are the best selling point with the hot tub outside. Very happy with my experience and will definitely be looking to book again and will recommend to others.
