Dunhuang International Hotel

The hotel's garden is beautiful, and even though we didn't use it, it was lovely to look at. Since it was the off-season, there were only a few guests on the night we checked in, but the breakfast was still quite rich! The hotel's location is great if you prefer a very quiet environment. However, since I was with two young children, I felt a bit scared walking back from the city at night because you have to go through a long, narrow road. Overall, the staff were alright. They matched the hotel's business-like style. It would be even better if the front desk staff smiled more and others were a bit more attentive. I'd especially like to praise the doorman who assisted us on the evening of the 25th; he was incredibly helpful and even accompanied us back to our room when we were hesitant to go up alone.

The hotel is large, but the room facilities are extremely old. The toilet and bathroom leak, the wooden decorative door under the sink is so fragile it collapses at the slightest touch, and the toilet door cannot be closed normally, even when locked. After staying for two days, the bathroom was still covered in hair on the second day, clearly indicating it hadn't been cleaned. Given these conditions, the buffet breakfast is surprisingly good, but children are charged full price. Overall, a terrible experience!
