Hotel Vivas

Deserves 5 out of 5. Im extremely fussy, yet this hotel met all my expectations. LOVELY FAMILY RUN hotel, BUILT BY THEIR FATHER with lovely seaviews. We stayed 9 days, the price was excellent and because of this, we had planned on just using hotel as a base and visiting other places. But after checking , we chilled and relaxed too much that stayed put. Rooms are very big and NEWLY DECORATED, we had a superking bed, couch, tv, fridge, and lovely views of sea, beaches and piers. (Room 505) We brought our own kettle, as always, and glad we did, as rooms dont have cofffee makibg facilities. And also as we slept so much we missed breakfast every day, fresh coffee on the balcony, watching the nesting birds was enough for us. We enjoyed going for walks and trying different byrek each day. Hotels private beach is raked and cleaned each day, you are not hounded by beggars or sellers, as on other beaches. The location is great, its near enough for a good walk into durres town, yet the bus stops 50yds up, so if needed we jumped the bus both into durres (to catch other to go to kruje) if you get bus other way, you can catch small buses to golem and berat. The only down side we had, was cleaning ladies, they need a good kick up their @rses. I will always make our bed no matter where we are, unless we are rushing out. Because of this, housekeepers became lazy, Theyd often just not bother putting more toilet rolls or bags in bathroom bin, with respect for hotel, we refused to put loo roll down and block drains, so id have to go looking for them. Upon checkibg out, our taxi was taking its time arriving (albanians dont rush) we were shocked when owner got his car, and took us to the airport. NEVER have we received such A GOOD GESTURE OR PERSONAL SERVICE.

Never again. If this hotel have been in another country in Europe, it would either have been closed or only a 2 star hotel… The breakfast is so bad, and is not filled up, we had to wait 25 minutes to get some bread, and when the waiter finally came with it, she only had half a bread and now we where 18 people waiting for it… Come on it is bread! Bring some more!! No glases for the juic The cleaning of the place is a joke, why do it when you do it so bad? We left after 4 days of our one week stay

vivas hotel, a place where you can spend a good week, my family and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we had a great time, everything was perfect and super service, wonderful staff, good behavior and warmth for customers☺️☺️🥂 our family is from Italy and we tell you all to visit this country🥰🥰

The hotel is situated right on the beach. Lovely view from the balcony. Ok breakfast. People are friendly and kind. Be prepared though that your room wouldn’t be cleaned, toilet paper and clean towels will be missing. But the lovely reception staff will fix that every time so you do accept the inconvenience.

Awful management with no concept of customer service - they had an argument with us after the management (Vaso & his mother) shouted at my 10 year old sister when she was alone! None of the facilities (swimming pool or spa) worked and we had no prior warning, so we had to pay extra to use the spa at another hotel! There was not a safe in any room. There were wires dangerously hanging out of sockets. There was no kettle or complimentary water in the rooms. They did not clean the rooms properly, we stayed for 8 days and they did not change the bedsheets once even when we requested it! They did not hoover or mop the bedroom floors. There were 4 beds in our room but they would only give 2 towels. Previous guests clothes were left in our cupboard. The bathroom doors didn’t lock. There was a drain smell coming from the bathroom.

It's a comfortable, good price-quality hotel. The rooms are clean, and nicely designed. The breakfast can be a little boring, the same food every morning,but the quality is very good, tasty and always fresh. It can be sometimes a bit loud, as it is near the amusement park.

The service and all personal there are amazing and very kind. The rooms are comfortable and clear . The food is great and very delicious. The beach in front of the hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is great and I recommend it.
