Stayed for 2 nights for work. Dated hotel, unhelpful staff, bed comfy but pillows are old and either flat as a pancake or hard and lumpy (including the spares in the wardrobe I fished out last night) 11pm tonight the fire alarm goes off, after 30 seconds or so you can hear all guest opening their doors to see if we have to evacuate. After around a min the alarm goes off, but no one knows if it’s a false alarm or not. Just left to go back to our rooms hoping it’s not an actual fire. It’s 1am as I write this on my second night having woken up again! With neck pain and headache from the pillows. The room is uncomfortably hot and there are window restrictors on the window so can’t really get any fresh air in the room to cool down. The vending machine in the lobby card payment function is broken, had no change only notes. Receptionist couldn’t help and suggested I drink the water out of the bathroom tap! It’s a hard water area, the limescale that is in the kettle and water marks on the glasses are enough to put anyone off. Yesterday on arrival at 11.30pm id forgotten my toothpaste, receptionist shared they had ran out of the little packs they sell to guests and I had to uber toothpaste (thank god for uber and the driver who didn’t give up finding me, as the front reception area is blocked off. You need to literally walk round the back of the hotel to get in and it’s not signed posted). Breakfast was ok, nice that it’s cooked fresh to order. But again the cutlery and glasses look dirty but I do just think this is limescale from the water. But it’s very off putting! I have not found a single staff member helpful, in fact I would go as far to say they are rude or have a rude expression when spoken to. Like everything is to much trouble (apart from the lady who served me at breakfast, she explained everything to me and smiled at guests when talking to them) The company I work for has just opened another site in Bognor, but I will not be staying in this premier inn again and will go to the Chichester one and hope they have better staff and facilities there. This is a weekly booking that has been lost, due to the terrible facilities and questionable customer service.

Fantastic friendly and attentive hotel, nothing felt too much trouble. Good local knowledge, assisted me with directions and best parking places for my meeting. Clean room, comfy bed, easy parking. Staff were welcoming. 5* service. Didn’t use attached restaurant.

We have just had yet another perfect stay here! After a lovely check in from Bill, we went to our room. As always the room was beautifully clean with all the amenities we have come to expect. Sarah, the Manager does such a good job in running the place, ably assisted by the Staff Team, Helen, Mandy and Tasha. This team just cannot do enough to make your stay the best it can be. After a peaceful nights sleep we headed for Breakfast. We were served by Wendy, Tasha and Kylie. Great service and we loved our cooked breakfast! All in all we left feeling relaxed and refreshed after our mini break. Thank you all so much for all your care, we will see you soon!

Just moved away from bognor so returning to see friends this is an ideal place for me to stay. Room fine, beds comfy. Ate in the restaurant a few times, breakfast, lunch and a dinner. The only thing I would say is not alot of choice for vegatarians in the evening but that was me being picky. I had the fish which was lovely. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Booked a double for myself but needed to change to a twin so my son could join me for a night. Which was no trouble. Over all a pleasant stay and will be ideal for me to use again when I visit friends.

We stayed here for a couple of days in half term. We had a really lovely clean room. All the staff we met were really lovely and friendly, also had a great knowledge of the area to recommend things for us to do. We had dinner at the RobinHood next door which we really enjoyed

Hotel ok, in need of some finishing touches like soap dispensers in bathroom but overall ok. Staff very friendly, evening meal in the attached pub was very good. Breakfast wasn’t that good to be honest, we probably should have complained but we had great choice for the continental but had to choose what we wanted as not a buffet selection. Scrambled eggs very over cooked, sausages over cooked, bacon cold, and bubble and squeak not great and very very overcooked Probably would stay her again and would have an evening meal but wouldn’t stay for breakfast.
