Date of stay: January 12 to January 14 We, as a foundation, recently booked a holiday home with you for our employees with the expectation of a comfortable and clean stay. Unfortunately we have to report that our experience was far from positive and it forced us to write this review. Upon arrival we quickly discovered that the cottage was in an extremely unsanitary state. The beds were not made and a duvet was even completely missing. We also found dirty socks, candy wrappers and even a cigarette on the floor. A large puddle of water was next to one of the beds, which was not only unpleasant, but potentially dangerous. The house clearly suffered from deferred maintenance, with a broken chair and mold in several places. The shower cubicle was filled with sand, and remarkably we even found a cucumber sticker on the heater. This suggests not only a lack of cleaning, but also a total lack of attention to the quality of the accommodation. The missing duvets meant that one of our employees had to seek shelter elsewhere at the last minute, which was very inconvenient, especially considering the purpose of our stay: work combined with overnight accommodation. After contacting you by email afterwards, you were unfortunately not prepared to find compensation or a solution. This experience has not only damaged our confidence, but also defeated the intended purpose of booking a holiday home for our employees. We hope that this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate measures are taken to prevent similar situations in the future.
