The room isn't huge, but it felt cozy overall. The two beds were enough for the three of us. It's not far from the train station, just a few minutes' walk after coming down from North Bridge. Plus, there's a shortcut behind the hotel that leads straight to the Royal Mile in a few minutes, which is super convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Calton Hill and close to the train station. The staff are friendly, and it's just a five or six-minute walk away. Although the room was a bit small, it was clean and tidy. The breakfast was also quite substantial. Overall, it was a good experience.

When we checked in (around 2pm) we were given a card to a room. After making it upstairs we walked our 7 year old girl into an occupied room. This is a pretty big safety issue. We went back downstairs and was told ‘it’s because you checked in early, rather than a simple ‘sorry it’s a mistake’ which to be honest annoyed me. We were then told to come back after 3pm. We returned at 5pm and they had moved us to another room. In the morning because of the room change and possibly bad communication the staff said we had more money to pay in unpaid bills. This wasn’t the case but these cases definitely affected how we feel about the staff at this hotel. Passing that by now. Great location and comfy room. Bathroom is small but that’s to be expected sometimes

Beautiful Edinburgh Old Town, near Waverley Station. It was clean and the service was good, but it's a shame that there's construction going on right next door.

Close to station luggage storage available, comfortable. I have tried staying at Leonardo Royal in Glasgow and I just feel comfortable to this chain.

For almost 6,000 a night, we got a tiny, cramped room with a mix of mold and paint smells, where three people could barely turn around. The front desk service felt very fake. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing! The only stars go to the staff member who handled our luggage storage at the end – they were reliable!

Absolutely fantastic! I loved the style of the place. The complimentary coffee capsules and snacks were a really nice touch, and they even included sparkling water. Honestly, this was the best hotel I've stayed at in the UK. The location is also perfect. Highly, highly recommend!
