It was easy to find the location, next to high street(main Street in the center) the room was in a 6 bed instead of 8 beds female room, so it was even better, bathroom and toilet in the room is more convenient as you share with less people .the people at the reception were also very polite, check in was done easily. There is a kitchen in the ground floor with seating area, a bar , in the kitchen you can also cook with plates, cutlery, cooking pots, everything you need Can recommend and have booked it again! There is also breakfast but I didn't have it as I cooked my own.

Fine hotel. average room, self check-in, gave the wrong room with 8people at first. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Brilliant location especially for the fringe festival, it meant I was able to catch a show after checking out as they had free festival shows downstairs in the bar. My light was broken and unusable, but other than that the dorm on the 4th floor was quiet enough didnt hear any of the noise from the bar downstairs which is great, only issue was from guests not from the hostel itself, guests on the last night came in at 1.30am and started making their beds as only one of them had made their bed during check in, I guess the hostel could advise guests to make their beds at check in instead of waiting until they come back to do it, or explain general expectations of sharing rooms with others to be mindful of other guests as the 3 girls didnt turn the light off or stop talking in the room until 4am and then left the room again at 7.30am

The hostel is in a great location, very close to the city centre and within easy walking distance. The cleanliness was okay overall, I stayed for four nights, and during most of my stay the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The beds were made and the rubbish was removed, but the rest of the room didn’t seem to be cleaned. However, the day before I left, I wrote a short note for the cleaner and left it near the bin explaining my concerns. When I returned, the room was absolutely impeccable. I really appreciated how quickly and seriously they responded to my feedback. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the common area is comfortable. The main downside for me was the noise from the street. There was quite a lot of noise at night, sometimes continuing until late, so this is something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. Overall, despite these small issues, I had a good stay and would recommend the hostel, especially to women travelling solo. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and I particularly appreciated how responsive the staff were when I raised a concern.
