room is clean and tidy, very spacious for two. and the location is so great! with a bus stop to airport nearby and a large shopping mall.  the only weakness is that the room amenities are quite old and sound insulation is not so good.

I had booked a deluxe double bedroom but I wasn't given what I had booked, got basic. No smart TV. No water bottle as mentioned in amenities. No proper room service even after requested for a room cleanup they had missed or forgotten or do not care. No coffee machine. Could see dust in every corner of the room. A broken window which doesn't close completely and has a lot of air passing. There was a generator and service area of the hotel, too noisy due to the broken window. I felt very uncomfortable, been in many 3-4-5 star hotels but this can't be a 4 star.

Nothing special but nothing terrible either. Few minor things that needed fixing in the room and the bedding had some marks, likely just from laundry process. Overall price was ok for what we got. Breakfast was good and fairly quick to get to the airport.

The breakfast was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of drinks, bread, sausages, bacon, cereals, and fruits – definitely filling. The location is a tiny bit out of the way, but we took the local train to the city center every day. It's a convenient 12-minute ride from Haymarket Station to Waverley Station. The room was spacious, though the facilities were a little dated. Overall, it was a good stay.

The service was incredibly attentive, the environment was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and professional. The overall experience was excellent. Both the quality and the attention to detail left a lasting impression, and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Loved the breakfasts! Normal fry up one day, haggis the next! We had an early start to go to the Highlands, but breakfast was all ready at 630am. Were even allowed to take some fruit and pastries away for the trip. Staff helpful, ordered our taxi. They were not too clued up on getting the transport into the city, this would be helpful as we are easily 30 minutes away from the centre. I would avoid getting the tram in and out of the city as the distance to the Gateway or Gyle Centre stop is a little far and unless you know where the hotel actually is, then it gets frustrating going the wrong way to get there. TIP:- From Gateway go under the bridge (well lit) and turn left to go up some steps (not ideal with suitcases) to get onto Glasgow Road, head past B&M then you can see the hotel. From Gyle Centre head towards Glasgow Road (dont try to navigate around the shopping centre just head to Morrisons and the main road - the other way you are trapped with no access to cross the railway line!) - go up the stairs and head towards B&M. If you are lucky enough to read this, then I have saved you 40 minutes and 2 miles of frustration! Some buses are cheaper than others (X38 was 1 quid for adults, kids were free)(100 is the airport bus - expensive)(31 was similar to tram price 2.20gbp for adults, 1.10gbp for kids).

The phone to call reception was not working. The water in the bath tub is draining very slowly, some sort of blockage. The TV was not working. I have to go to the reception and told him the 3 problems and went after 45 minutes to remind them that no one came. It took someone to arrive, probably from Glasgow, after an hour and was informed something else and didn’t have a pump to solve the bath tub problem. Only the TV was some sort of repaired and it was already 2230hrs when actually TV was not much needed anymore. The phone never worked.

The room was nice. You have to request housekeeping, but it was still pretty good. The big supermarket nearby is super cheap, and the train to the city center only takes about ten minutes, which is quite convenient.
