We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel was luxurious and tastlefully decorated for the festive season. I can not praise the staff enough, we were felt extremely welcome and they couldnt do enough for us. Interactions were comfortable, relaxed and professional. The hotel is perfectly situated within confortable walking distance to Edinburgh castle and other attractions and restaurants and shops also near. I highly recommend staying here and i look forward to returning.

Location fantastic and service was great.  However, for the price it was extremely disappointing.  Window view onto scaffolding opposite with workmen looking in the next morning.  The room was very cold and despite maintenance coming to look at the AC it never warmed up. Had to get an extra heater later. Breakfast was great but went to the toilet and my breakfast was cleared away so had to start again even though I'd left things on the table.  I wouldn't go again for the price.

My friend and I stayed at InterContinental Edinburgh The George, and it was truly wonderful. The hotel is elegant, and the city of Edinburgh is just amazing. A special shout-out to Frank in the lobby—I've stayed in quite a few hotels, and I can honestly say he's one of the best. He takes the time to connect with guests, remembers you, and offers help with genuine kindness. He really made our stay even more memorable.

I do appreciate MONIKA’s service.She was very helpful and supportive. Very nice to communicate and the environment was great. The room was fantastic view and quite clean as well. I am looking forward to check in in the future.

This is not a family hotel.  It’s noisy , no residents lounge and kids have to sit in a public bar.   Staff dragging furniture around at 6am both mornings of  our stay.  Room service was terrible.  You will be kept awake all night with drunks  in the street and church bells from the crack of dawn.  Nothing relaxing about this hotel.   No private dining either as it’s all open to the public.

Had couple of phone call with receptionist in regards of the deposit return, still not resolved. The receptionist is very rude! Very bad experience!
