This is a fantastic place to stay. I read all of the 5 star reviews and they are absolutely true, I can definitely recommend staying here. Vivienne is a really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and we felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. It's in a perfect position to explore Edinburgh and the local pubs are brilliant for food and drinks. It's a really comfortable guest house and the breakfast is perfect to start the day.
I can really recommend staying at Sherwood Guest House and I would certainly book again.

Very cosy stay in Edinburgh in a great location! Vivienne our host was amazing and helped us plan our trip and gave great suggestions on how to spend our time. She was very accomodating and made us feel at home.

Vivienne was an amazing host and her place was exactly as advertised. She made recommendations the entire trip and we took her up on every one of them and it absolutely made our trip. Highly recommend her place to anyone. My son forgot his toy there and she even drove it to the airport for us so he didn’t leave it behind. Incredible woman

Had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Guest House. Spotlessly clean and bright room, breakfast was perfect, host was amazing, helpful and loads of local knowledge and it was easy walking distance to attractions or the bus right on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

Sherwood Guest House was a really wonderful place to stay. Vivienne was an amazing hostess. She was friendly and very helpful with tips for travelling in the city. The room was super cute and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely property, lovely owner who was so kind. Vivienne went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. Delicious breakfast, convenient location (only a 20 minute walk to main attractions). We will come back! Thanks so much!
