The room is more like the primitive era, with a very small swimming pool and close to the sea. The sound of sea breeze and waves is very loud at night, making it difficult to sleep. There were a lot of small black bugs on the bed, and the red bumps on my arms that I had bitten after staying there for one night have not gone away for a week... I asked the hotel to check out early the next day, but the hotel didn't agree, so I had to bear the one-night room fee. I changed to other hotels and the experience was very bad! Not recommended for everyone to live here.

We stayed for 7 nights in the oceanfront suite, the views are stunning and the room was spacious, contained a kitchen and was air conditioned. The placement of a ceiling fan directly over the huge bed was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept so well (although woke super early as there was no way to block the light coming in the huge bifold doors - sunrise was about 5am each morning) Nasama was the perfect spot for our first visit to Vanuatu, buses were very easy to catch at the roadside. All of the staff from the gardeners to the Food and beverage Manager had time to say hello and ask how you were, you will not regret choosing Nasama for your holiday.

This was my 3rd time to Nasama Resort, everything about Nasama is perfect, the food, the drinks, the location, the facilities. The staff are absolutely amazing, they are so kind and helpful and genuinely care about your time spent there. We arrived at 2am and security was there to check us in. I cant wait to go back. I would recommend Nasama resort to everyone.

Beautiful setting. We had a sea view - great to wake up to. Our Fiji Airways flight was greatly delayed so reception was closed but the security guard was expecting us and had everything ready. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The food in both restaurants was very good (although bunia may be an acquired taste). Only suggestion would be that cooked breakfast comes with coffee or juice - why not make it both? And not obvious why you need to sign for breakfast every day when the amount is zero. But that’s a minor quibble. Also there were a few internet outages but staff fixed them quickly. Maybe we should also mention that it’s easy to get to and from Port Vila with the buses that pass - just flag them down - and there is a small shop with basics opposite. We also appreciated the help the staff at reception gave us with organising the excellent tour let by John and the airport shuttle, with the very nice driver.

We loved every minute of our five nights at Nasama. The suites are spacious, well equipped, and comfortable with large balconies. We overlooked a lovely infinity pool and a small beach with an ocean breeze and view. To sit back at night and look at the stars was magical. The staff, Sharlyn, Ashley, Mona, and the others whose names I did not get unfortunately, were so helpful and friendly. We always felt well cared for. What we also really appreciated were the two excellent restaurants right on the property. Three Pigs was good for pizza and a beer, but Cafe Vila was one of the best places we have eaten on our three month trip. The menu is creative, healthy, and so delicious. The real bonus in staying at Nasama is the gourmet full breakfast with lots of choices, is included in the price of the room. It was something we really looked forward to each day and it added real value. Nasama is highly recommended from someone not easily pleased.

We just ended our stay of 9 days here. The location of the resort is great and the views are sensational. Staff are friendly, but the price and the fact that the place needs a huge make over were a bit of a disappointment. Our room was lovely though and we had the best reviews. There are 2 restaurants on site that are a great convenience and a local shop to get drinks, snacks and those little things you might need. The food is nice enough but is extremely overpriced as is everything for some reason. Be prepared as a couple to spend easily over $200 each night for dinner (just a main and drinks). The pool was nice but the grounds needed a cleanup there were broken lights around the pool area and a terrible stain in the pool that was a bit off putting. The views from the site are something else though and made up for the things that need fixing. The resort is for sale and it feels like it’s been given up on, to be honest it needs some TLC, especially for the prices that they are asking. I wouldn’t rate it a 4 star resort in the state it’s currently in.

Despite some rainy days we enjoyed every moment of our stay at Nasama Resort. Often when the weather is dismal, it can be hard to focus on the positives but with such beautiful tropical surroundings, friendly people and access to family friendly activities on our door step, we were as happy as could be. The top 3 highlights of the stay would have to be.... The two bedroom apartment which was beautifully appointed and comfortable for our family. The delightfully placed pool with views out to the ocean. The indulgent hot stone massage down on the waterfront. I didn't want to leave and can not wait to go back!

We spent a very good week at NASAMA Resort. It is a good resort, very clean and well cared for. Our suite was a little ‘tired’ but had everything needed for a good holiday. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Excellent swimming pool and dining options.
