Standard icelandic hotel whereby no toiletries provided. Good location easy to find. Nearby has petrol & groceries for top up of necessities. Reception is professional but not friendly and warm.

Firstly I’d like to thank the wonderful staff at this hotel for the lovely birthday surprise for my Fiancé when we arrived, you went above and beyond! The lady that checked us in was lovely, helpful and we didn’t have to wait long. Room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed for 1 night on our road trip - clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic (same as most in Iceland) but plenty to fill you up and constantly replenished. Good location, lovely pizzeria and brewery a short walk away. Ample walking. Would stay again, thank you!

Overall, the hotel was good. The breakfast was the best one during my trip to Iceland. The staff were friendly, and the room felt clean but had a strange smell in addition to the sulfur smell found in Iceland.

The hotel room itself was very nice. It was the first room we have stayed at in Iceland with multiple pillows. The shower was inconsistent in its ability to stay hot, but wouldn’t go as far to say it got cold when it shouldn’t have been. Opening a window was a must, as it got a little stuffy and warm overnight. The room did not come with a mini fridge. The toilet was also not the strongest, as it required multiple flushes in some instances.
The onsite restaurant was nice. It was vegan friendly, but not an abundance of options. The menu was definitely on the pricier side, but had a wide array of options for someone with an unrestricted diet.
Very pretty views from rooms.
Breakfast was good. There was an assortment of fruits, vegetables, meats, breads, coffee, tea, cereal, and juices.

We got storm in at the hotel and the staff was very nice, provide coffee and water throughout the day.
