The wild olive tree camp is located close to the Orpen Gate access to Kruger Park. The location is amazing and it's an experience, the rooms are very rural and you're completely immerse in the nature. Rooms have all the necessary, water temperature of the shower was perfect. Options to have dinner and breakfast onsite, prepared by the staff with attention. There's also a swimming pool, to relax after a long day. The staff is incredible, they spend time to socialize with guests and always check if everything is fine. I totally recommend this place, was a fantastic experience for me. The sounds of the nature all around are great. You should try! All the best to the staff :)

This little camp is a must - quiet, simple with excellent food and wonderful staff. Chef Happy produced a delicious feast every evening and even if we wanted to get into Kruger early they sent us out with a packed breakfast. Don't expect good wifi but do expect warm hospitality and simple bush charm at it's best.

Great place to stay in the bush near Orpen Gate, very nice people, a need place, quiet, greats tents and a good bed. Did I mention the traditional African meals, love it! Certainly will come back again!

Great place to start your Kruger Adventure! The Lodge is situated directly outside Orpengate, so when you arrive late and start early in the morning it is the perfect place. We were warmly welcomed and had a really great meal. The tents are very clean and we had a wonderfull night, hearing the elefants from afar.

As always, the welcome was very warm, the food and service excellent in the whole I have spent a very nice time at wild olive tree camp! I would go back anytime again and again Thanks a lot to the whole stuff

The camp has a fabulous location right outside the Orpen Kruger Gate. The permanent tents are basic but clean and comfortable. Olga and her staff are extremely friendly and hospitable and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast and dinners are very tasty. Dinners are a set 3 course menu with small portions in each course. If you looking for an affordable, basic, clean and comfortable camp with a great location, then I highly recommend Wild Olive.

We had a wonderful time in the bush at The Wild Olive Tree Camp. The staff was friendly and helpful, staring from the security men at the gate, Olga,Sufficient, Tintswalo, the 2 chefs, and the handyman The chefs cooked delicious meals.

This was a great experience I wanted to be exposed to the outdoors yet comfortable & Safe , The location was great very close access too Kruger park , The staff were great, food supplied and prepared was fresh and cooked too a very high standard, had a outdoor fire where you could sit around before or after dinner , I did a safari with a guide and he was very knowledgeable we seen lions up close and many other animals up in there natural surroundings, the accommodation was very comfortable, had shower , toilet , beds & linen , I felt safe , I can highly recommend this property and the the wonderful experience in the environment it will bring you and your family regards Terence Smith
