Basic hotel. Open showers with lack of ventilation mean the bathroom gets wet and steamy very easily. We ate at the restaurant one night where unfortunately smoking is permitted on the terrace, even when others are eating. It took a long time for the food of our small kids to arrive, and it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed. The restaurant outdoors space it next to the parking lot.

Always nice to see that historical heritage has been given a new purpose. The hotel is very conveniently located for excursions in the immediate, surprisingly beautiful surroundings. A generous choice of walks and bike rides via junctions (handy maps available at the reception). The price/quality ratio of the hotel is good; the reception by young staff extremely friendly. We had a comfort room with a spacious sitting area, dining table and kitchen (no cooking equipment). Next time I would ask for a room at the back because of the traffic noise.

Nice hotel just outside the village Eibergen, big rooms and really good beds, breakfast is standard but very OK, nice atmosphere. Restaurant standard but good food, the wine is very affordable. we did some nice walk in that area. The town itself is small but has good restaurants.

They did a wonderful job with this place. We love the story of this kind of buildings. You still can see some of the old pillars of the old factory, we loved it how they preserved this. The room was very nice, we had a good night sleep. The breakfast was also good and more then enough. If we want to go to this area again we will choose De Kastanjefabriek for sure.

Excellent Hotel rooms are very modern spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short stay. The staff were great very friendly helpful, food and wine was very enjoyable. The gardens and parking area were well kept and we felt like we was in a special place. Overall excellent stay.

Our welcome was very friendly. The deluxe suite was indeed luxurious. And very spacious. Fully equipped, such as air conditioning and refrigerator. A 2-person yacuzzi and rain shower completed it. Our room was at the back of the property, with nice views of greenery. (At the front you overlook the main road, don't know about the noise there).

We loved it. It was a nice surprise tucked in the rural area. Charming previous cotton weaving factory, transformed into a highly functioning hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable with AC. Kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
