Very disappointing experience. During our stay, we encountered serious hygiene issues in the room: two cockroaches inside the electric kettle, and dirty cups with visible lipstick residue, indicating the equipment had not been properly cleaned between guests. This is unacceptable in a hotel of this level, especially when staying with a baby. To be fair, the hotel upgraded us to a room with a balcony to celebrate a birthday, which was a nice gesture. However, an upgrade cannot and should not compensate for basic hygiene and sanitation failures. The duty manager came to the room, saw and documented the findings, and the items were replaced. Unfortunately, the subsequent handling by hotel and chain management was bureaucratic and defensive, and the compensation offered did not reflect the severity of the incident or the impact on our stay. A hotel is expected to guarantee cleanliness, hygiene, and guest safety first and foremost. In this case, the failure was in the most basic aspects, and the follow-up only deepened the disappointment.
