Hotel Quijote

It was terrible that one had to exit at 10 am and when asked for a late check out they said 10:15am. And the hotel did not seemed full. Otherwise hotel location great

This place is clean and comfortable, but it must be run by fascists. When we arrived earlier than the check-in time we were told not to return to check in until 2pm. We arrived fifteen minutes before 2 and were forced to wait until after 2 to gain access to our room. On the evening before check-out we asked for an extra hour or two, and the front desk offered us an additional 8 hours, but only at a half day additional rate. When we said we only wished an extra hour or two, the robotic woman at the front desk told reminded us that the hotel “es un negocio” ( is a business). Obviously, management does not understand the concept of “HOSPITALITY”. I would not recommend this place, event to my worst enemy.

we spent 5 nights at the quijote hotel. positives: great location, spacious rooms, large beds, friendly staff, good value. negatives: lack of hot water in the shower at peak hours (2 days), no wi-fi in one of the rooms (which was resolved as they moved us into a different room).

Loved the location. Easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and main street - as well as the lovely preserve in town that is worth a couple of hours to visit. But I digress. Besides the location there is nothing to distinguish the hotel. The rooms were average in comfort and size. The continental breakfast was good but the breakfast room staff never interacted with customers or made us feel welcome. Front desk was professional but not necessarily welcoming or friendly. On our last day, we stored our luggage and told them that we will need the luggage by 1PM. This was important because a big tour bus was there with tons of bags in the lobby. When we came back for our bags, the manager - who was at the front desk took me to the filled to the brim luggage storage room and basically said find your bags. Fortunately, she helped a bit and the bellhop eventually showed up to retrieve my bags from the back of the room. Not a big deal, but not a good experience.

The people working in the hotel are unpleasant and don’t do their job properly. From all the people I talked to, only Nathalie was an angel, working perfectly, conscientiously and being always helpful

This hotel is excellently placed and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast too was fresh and varied. However the hotel could do with some tlc. The beds in our room were comfortable but the safe needed batteries, the bath had no plug ( though it was good to have a bath at all) and the shower rail fell down 3 times. We could also have done with air conditioning. On balance we would return.

This hotel has a very convenient location, 1 block from shops and restaurants. Rooms are quiet and clean. The lobby is attractive. Breakfast is fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were a bit stuffy and too warm. We could not regulate the temperate and had to open a window to bring the temperature down to a comfortable level. It would have also been helpful to have electric plugs next to the nightstands to recharge our phones.

Room is old, dirty, no temperature control in the room.

Staff was not very friendly and rude.
