Nice room, hot shower, very helpful staff, breakfast was good with scrambled eggs made to order. Location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking in front of the inn. Communal kitchen. Free wifi. Staff arranged bag lunches for our hike

Definitely owe this place an overdue and glowing review. The positive reviews on this site and *********** are true. Gaston is a wonderful host, epitomizing the warmth and friendliness that I have encountered throughout the country. He has been very helpful with providing useful advice to guide you with the hiking trails around this surreally picturesque town of El Chalten. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent breakfast provided. Highly recommended. A small family run business that definitely deserves your support, especially during these tough economic times in Argentina.

We can’t speak highly enough about our stay. The staff (particularly Diana!) were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The breakfast was INSANELY good - we weren’t expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of options and quality of the food. The amenities were great, including the kitchen supplies. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shampoo and conditioner provided was great, and they even cleaned our room! This place is a steal of a deal and we highly recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about the owners! I missed a bud and arrived very late, but they were so kind and understanding and still let me check in. Every morning I was treated to incredible banana bread included with the breakfast, and “What are your plans today?” With helpful tips and suggestions. I enjoyed the large kitchen area and ability to meet other guests. The hostel was a 5 minute walk to the bus or into the start of town, and about 12 min walk to the start of the tres lagos hike. I love my time in El Chalten!

Clean and spacious rooms. Conveniently located right off the main street and also only a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal. Staff was very friendly and helpful, offered to arrange a shuttle to take us to the trailhead for one of our hikes. Excellent value, would stay here again.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff, clean, spacious room, free shampoo and conditioner. Good breakfast. Wi-Fi not great but I think that is the same across the town
