Coco Garden Villas

I booked this cottage for four nights, expecting a smooth and enjoyable stay. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that my booking had been canceled. I had never received any confirmation of this—not from the booking platform, nor from the owner. When I asked for proof of the cancellation and a confirmation that I would get my money back, the receptionist could only give me the owner's phone number. After multiple messages back and forth with the owner, I am still no closer to a resolution. Weeks have passed, and I have yet to receive my refund or even an official cancellation confirmation. To make matters worse, when we asked if there were any available rooms, we were told that everything was fully booked. This left us scrambling for a last-minute alternative, forcing us to book a much more expensive hotel an hour away. This experience was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and costly. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that communication and reliability are serious issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On the picture you will see my name Alvin, and behind it says cancelled.

The hotel is very eco friendly if you’re into that stuff but a bit far away from everything and transportation to get to all the places you wanna be is quite pricey.

Arrived to find bed bugs and insect droppings on our mattress, holes in the bamboo floor from rot, no toilet seat. The location shows it’s near the beach, it’s 15 minutes inland and they’ve uploaded the wrong location. I told the owner there was insect droppings on the bed, he told me if the sheets are clean it doesn’t matter and I should sleep in the poo.
