I stayed at the Mayan Grouper for a short, one-day stay. That was a mistake. The Mayan Grouper is fantastic. The location, a secluded few blocks from the plaza, is lovely. The views overlooking the lake and mountains are breathtaking. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Finally, Rene is a stellar host. What more can you ask for?
