The room was very spacious, and we could barely hear any airplane noise. When booking, we specifically selected a rate that included four breakfasts. However, the front desk insisted our room only came with two. Thankfully, Ctrip customer service helped us resolve this issue smoothly. A middle-aged waitress in the restaurant, who appeared to be Chinese, made a rather peculiar comment. It was as if she assumed we had never been to a buffet, as she specifically told us, 'Help yourself to anything.' We found it quite odd.

A good convenient hotel to stay at before your next flight. The price was reasonable. The shuttle bus service to the hotel was straightforward and we didn’t have to wait that long. The room was comfortable and simple. I couldn’t find any kettle to get hot water for the tea though in the room. Breakfast was tasty as well.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Stayed at Hyatt Place LAX recently. The location is definitely convenient—close to the airport and ideal for transit travelers. The overall value for money is fair, considering the area. That said, I was surprised to find there was no electric kettle in the room, which is typically standard in most hotels. I also emailed the hotel regarding a laptop that may have been left behind during my stay, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any response. It’s disappointing when follow-up communication falls short. All in all, it’s a decent choice if you’re prioritizing location, but there’s room for improvement in amenities and responsiveness.

It started off promisingly, with a smooth coordination for my pick-up at LAX, which pleasantly exceeded my expectations and set a hopeful tone for my stay. However, that initial positivity quickly faded. When I entered my room and opened the curtains, I was met with an unsightly view: a construction dumping site littered with open garbage bins and, shockingly, an exposed toilet. The thought of starting my mornings with coffee while staring at such a view was less than ideal. The next morning, as I tried to enjoy my coffee, the scene outside was impossible to ignore. I found myself unable to finish my coffee and went straight to the reception desk, feeling quite frustrated. I explained the situation to the manager, expressing my disappointment and requesting a different room. To her credit, she did her best to help by offering a room one floor up. While I appreciated her attempt, the ‘solution’ barely improved the situation. The same eyesore remained directly below, and I found myself avoiding the view entirely by only looking up at the sky instead. What could have been a comfortable, relaxing stay turned into one filled with frustration and disappointment. While the staff made an effort, it didn’t change the fact that each morning started with a grim reminder of the inadequate environment. The experience left a sour aftertaste, overshadowing any positives the hotel had to offer. With all of this in mind, I’m giving 2 stars. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would not recommend this experience to others.

We arrived almost midnight! Smooth check in and check out. Staffs were excellent at service. Kind, helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping the rooms and bathrooms super clean. Beds were so comfy till we couldn't wake up. We felt so good under the hot shower after a long flight. Location is perfect. Shuttle service is 24hrs to and fro LAX Airport. Ohh... Breakfast was simple yet delicious. Definitely worth it and we would return for longer stay. Highly recommended to everyone👍😁

It’s very convenient if you are just spending a night at LAX during transit. Free shuttle service from terminals from and to hotel. Has a restaurant and bar onsite for travelers convenience.

The only good of this hotel is that is close to the LAX airport and the shuttle service, it's a bit overpriced due the location, the swimming pool was not working due maintenance, a little maintenance will be good in the rooms.

The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

It offers excellent value for money, with a basic breakfast included and two complimentary bottles of water provided daily. Parking is available for $10 per day. The rooms are notably spacious and relatively modern. It's highly recommended for guests traveling by car. The majority of the staff were very good.
