Lagomandra Hotel and Spa

Very nice and carefully arranged hotel, with appropriate rooms and amenities (including pool, bar, gym, beach, restaurant). The general housekeeping is good and the staff force looks appropriate. The price for a half board accomodation is correct. I found two important areas for improvement, determining the 3 out of 5 score: 1) Food quality and rotation along the days: while everything is more than enough for breakfast, I found very limited greek cusine, very unattractive fish options and very limited variability at dinner. Maybe, everything is customised to east europe habits/taste; definitely not for me. 2) Entertainment, engagement and atmosphere: again, maybe this is customised to tastes different from mine, but this pushed me to spend most of the evenings away from the hotel (including a few dinners). This looked unfortunate, particularly thinking about the potentialities of the hotel properties and closeby nice area at the beach.

ok, all of us know that meaning of 4 start hotels in Greece is little undefined so looks like I finally found one which surprised me - positive! We had AI board and be there for one week in late July 2023 - 4 adults and one child. Since we have AI we can use all features for both hotels - Lagomandra Hotel & Spa and Lagomadra Beach Hotel. Stuff - very professional and polite Rooms - spacious and clean Beach - great beach but you must pay for set of sunbeds and umbrella. Price is 15EUR per set in first 3 rows, 12 EUR per set in other rows Pools - opened from 10-19 - clean with free towels Bars - one best espresso I get here, AI offer all branded soft drinks... You can always get cold bottle(s) of water 0.5l or 1l Restaurants - for breakfast and dinner we used restaurant in our hotel, for lunch we used restaurant on beach. Meals are in buffet style and my only remark is that there should be more variants for launch!

Great beach, lovely restaurant. It is super clean and beautiful. The food is delicious. The beach is having great shadows from huge trees. Lovely place to go with kids as well, plenty of experiences for them as well. We loved it!

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel and really couldn't fault it in any way. From the moment we checked in to the time we left all of the staffwe came into contact with were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. We booked half board and the food was fantastic, an excellent selection every day and always plenty of it. The pool areas are great with plenty of sunbeds, and free pool towels. Because it was quite quiet there was no charge to use the beach facilities which was a lovely surprise. The bar staff were great (Dimitris & Aris) thanks you made us feel really welcome, also the head animation guy (from Tunisia) who was really trying hard to get people involved in activity's. The room we were given (414) was overlooking the pool and was far better than we had expected, many thanks to the staff on reception for organising it. All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for a party style holiday as it really is a place to relax and enjoy.

We visited this hotel for a week commencing 13th September. 2022. To be honest I was a little disappointed.. we were all inclusive but unfortunately had to spend a fortune on drinks. The wine & beer was appalling. I resorted to the Lagamandra Rose each night in which incurred a cost. The pool was ok but could have been better if there was some entertainment or music. The staff at the pool bar were poor and uninterested. However once we crossed the road to the sister hotel the pool was fabulous & so was the staff! The night life was appalling! All they had on each night was children’s disco’s & child like entertainment. Nothing for adults. I found it incredibly boring at night. The bar staff weren’t very attentive, it was poor! The food was ok apart from the breakfast. Very repetitive and always cold. The coffee machine was average and the juices were cheap and watered down. I was a little surprised at evening meal. We had to order our drinks and of course pay for them as the drinks available were shocking. I felt the majority of the staff were rude and unhelpful. After 3 days we asked the receptionist for a hire car or any trips they had available. She said they were in a file on the shelf!! This spoke volumes. In turn both myself & my husband managed to have a nice week. The sea was fabulous & warm. The beach was good and we managed a trip on the local bus to the next village. I would never return here. I suppose it’s ok for families but I think the food and staff attitude needs to improve

Had a great time at this hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Had a car to get to the hotel as it is over an hour from thessaloniki airport. Room was clean comfortable and clean regularly, if anything was needed just had to ask reception. Food was very good with a good variety and with two chef stations cooking various fresh dishes. Pool was large with plenty of sun beds, can also go across the road and use the sister hotel pool with the beach also close. Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay at as a couple or family ( plenty was staying here at the time of my stay).

Unforgettable place, the location, the service and the delicious cuisine are legendary. We would especially thank Alexandra for the excellent and kind advise and special treatment in the restaurant and bar. We will definitely be back very soon. Efcharisto poli to everybody

Last year it was amazing. This year it was great ! You kept the Professional services and polite behaviour of all the crew people.Congrats to management team for keeping same high standards every year ! We will come back again next time with same huge pleasure !

This was an amazing hotel, ideally located next to the beach and offering the best time ever to families with young children. We stayed for 6 days but could easily stay longer and not get bored! The food was superb and of top quality, with an amazing sous-chef Stephanos, changing on a daily basis. All the staff is amazing, helpful and very polite and the pool is very convenient for children. Also the Splash team for activities kept the kids super happy! The real gem is the yellow-sanded exclusive beach across the road from the hotel! Highly recommend it!
