For a trip to Universal Studios, you typically have two main options: either a hotel inside the resort or a more budget-friendly one along the subway. This hotel was a great option for the latter. We stayed for two nights. As we planned to sleep in, we skipped the hotel shuttle and used the subway for transportation. The subway station is conveniently located right across the street, just past an intersection – very handy. There are also plenty of restaurants and eateries in the vicinity. We would definitely consider staying here again for future visits.

On the downside: While we appreciate the front desk upgrading us to a family room, the room had a very strong smoky smell. I suspect it might have been a room that previous guests had turned down because of this. I kept the window open and the AC running all night, but the odor never fully dissipated. I hope the hotel can further improve its cleaning and odor removal efforts.

The hotel is in a great location, right outside the subway station. It's convenient to go anywhere. Opposite is the National Library and Zizhuyuan Park. The hotel is well maintained, and the toilet is smart. The room has a warm color. I finally arrived early, and the room I booked was not available. I was upgraded for free.

The hotel is in a great location, very convenient for travel, with small parks nearby and plenty of dining options. The hotel rooms are clean, drinking water is replenished every day, and the front desk service is very thoughtful and considerate. What does it feel like to stay here?

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Noticing I was with two children, they thoughtfully offered extra bottled water and slippers, which was a lovely gesture. We even received a complimentary room upgrade! Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, and the kids absolutely loved it. A nice touch was the sterilizer cabinet in the bathroom with disinfected towels, and even a personalized welcome message on the TV screen. The attention to detail was exceptional! This is a truly excellent hotel, conveniently located for both the Qingbei area and Qinghe High-speed Railway Station. Highly recommended!

The room is clean, the service is warm, the breakfast is rich, the location is excellent next to Wanda Plaza, the facilities are new, and the intelligent robot can deliver food very conveniently.

It was my first time staying at your hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was surrounded by high-end fragrances and elegant background music, and my fatigue instantly dissipated. The front desk lady smiled kindly, and while checking in efficiently, she handed over warm towels and special welcome tea. She also introduced the hotel facilities and the routes to the surrounding attractions. ”Feeling at home” is an abstract word, but it has become a concrete experience here. The local specialty souvenirs given upon check-out interpret the professionalism and warmth of a 5-star hotel in every link. It is extremely cost-effective and highly recommended for business travelers or family tourists! I have silently saved the hotel's official account when I checked out, and I will definitely experience the executive suite next time~

The hotel must have opened recently, and the facilities are quite new, but the room decor still has a strong smell, so they placed green ivy in the room to absorb the odor. Some rooms have window shades, but upon check-in, they were given a fully shaded room. I was immediately speechless and asked for a different room, on the 6th floor, with a distant view of Tangdao Bay. However, the previous guest's bath towels and hand towels were left in the sink rack, untouched. I was again speechless. Thankfully, after reporting this to the front desk, they addressed it immediately. I can only understand that a new hotel needs to adjust its procedures. The service was excellent, and they always greeted guests. The room's sterilizer was a nice touch; new bath towels and hand towels are placed there so you can disinfect them yourself.
If you're only visiting Huangdao, driving is recommended. Traffic in the new area is relatively good, making it convenient to get to Jinyin Beach, Jiulongshan Road, and the Beer Festival. However, getting to the city center is not so convenient. During peak season, traffic is everywhere, and the subway station is quite far away, making it a long journey. It's also quite convenient. You can report your license plate number to the front desk before leaving, free of charge.

The hotel booked by the unit this time, the stay experience was great! I suddenly felt unwell in the middle of the night on a business trip. I was too panicked to call the customer service Cheng Xiaoyi. The night shift lady answered the phone in seconds and her tone was super gentle. She immediately coordinated the vehicle, arranged for medical treatment, followed up the registration, took medicine throughout the whole process, and has been caring about the situation on WeChat. I was worried about the trouble of going out to see a doctor, and they were really super safe! The service is too warm, I have told the reservation group, this hotel can book with peace of mind, super assured 👍🏻

This stay was a perfect experience beyond expectations! As soon as you enter the door, staff will take the initiative to help you with your luggage. The elegant aromatherapy scent in the lobby makes you relax instantly. The lady at the front desk had a very sweet smile and checked us in quickly. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared many small items. The room is more spacious than I expected. The bathroom area is particularly amazing. The smart toilet has a heating function, and the toiletries set is from a niche luxury brand. It is more comfortable to use than at home. There are so many breakfast options that I can’t even decide. I can eat this breakfast for two hours! The location is also superb, you can overlook Dazhushan from the room. I received it when I checked out and have already recommended it to all my friends. It is definitely the most memorable hotel I have ever stayed in!

Location : 5/5 (has 2 subway stations nearby, the line can directly go to PVG airport). Lots of restaurants and malls nearby.
Cleanliness : 5/5 
Facilities : 5/5 (can help to receive Taobao package, if order food you can note the room number and robot will send it directly to your room)
The shower and toilet are separate, the toilet is smart toilet with bidet.

Breakfast varieties have many options, I really love their noodle station.

Overall, if I travel to Shanghai again, will definitely choose Elong Hotel for my stay.

The service was impressive, and the buffet breakfast was quite good. I particularly appreciated the variety available, especially since I enjoy Chinese cuisine. The location is perfect for my schedule. However, there seems to be a KTV somewhere or a bar nearby,, and it was quite noisy during our stay on the weekends. It was either some people singing or chatting. I'm not sure if it is the same during weekdays.
