Embudu Village Maldives

We stayed at Embudu Village for 10 nights in October 25, for a 3 star resort it was amazing. We stayed in one of the beach bungalows and found it more than adequate, bed was a little hard , air conditioning worked, fridge , tea and coffee facilities provided. The island is beautiful, very green with plenty of parrots, lizards , fruit bats, sharks, crabs and fish galore to see. We were all inclusive and found the Buffet amazing, all cooked fresh and some items to order . The waiters couldn’t have done more for us, our waiter was called Samad , and was so kind and nothing we asked for was too much trouble for him, everyone of the staff from reception to the gardeners always great you with a smile . Someone stated that you can hear planes all the while …. But when you book your holiday it states how far away you are by speed boat / sea plane from Male so you will see and hear the planes but they don’t distract from where you are or how beautiful the island is, and then also ask yourself how did you travel to Male !! All in all we had a fabulous experience, snorkelling was a highlight, the amount of fish was amazing We will definitely be back , and 100% would highly recommend this island ️

We chose Embudu for our wedding anniversary (30 years) and my wife’s birthday. Our stay was from October 3 until October 12. It was out 7th time on Embudu! After a warm welcome we got our preference bungalow and how nice it was to experience that everyone of the staff made our wedding celebration very festive! Thank you Rasheed for the preparations and all you did for us. Also; the birthday cake, arranged by the food and beverage manager was so kind! And how delicious it was! It was a nice surprise our roomboy brought the cake to our bungalow. At the restaurant we got a very kind and friendly waiter; MD Hossain. He made our tea’s just the way we like it and he delivered a very good service every day! It was enjoyable to see how well he does his job! The room is clean and is perfect for a beautiful tropical holiday! What more could you wish for? White beaches, a sunbed, christal clear sea and what a housereef! Snorkeling is such a wonderfull experience here! There are lots of species to see! And what about the food? Well, breakfast, lunch and dinner is a buffet style, with lots of different choices and everything tastes great! And for curry lovers as we are, It was great to see there was a special curry buffet! We loved it! Overall we had a lovely holiday at Embudu and we will come back for the 8th time!

This was my 3rd time visiting Embudu and again it did not disappoint! I had the same room as last time #74. I requested this before coming and that was granted :) Snorkeling was amazing, I saw turtles 5 out of 9 days with a few long encounters, very special! Spotted an Eagle Ray at the drop off, a group of cute cuttlefish and all of the regulars! It was a fish soup! Service again was great, both at the bar and the restaurant and my room”boy”. Food was also very good! I had a wonderful stay and I am sure I will be back again some day!

Embudu Village has become our favorite resort in the Maldives for several reasons. For one is its proximity to the airport and the other main reason is the amazing house reef around the Island. Besides the attentive staff and good service we also always enjoyed the themed buffets throughout our week here. Tasty food paired with the atmosphere here has made our week very memorable. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who loves the real Maldives, away from super luxury, just Maldives. We’ll return for sure.

Embudu Village, what an absolute gem of an island…. We stayed for 10 nights from 9th May, the island is beautiful with crystal clear waters, white sands, lush trees with vibrant birds, lizards, bats, then underwater, quite possibly, the most beautiful reef I have ever seen. The experience of snorkelling with Octopus, Eagle Rays, Nurse Sharks, Stingrays, Reef Sharks, Turtles and about a million fish, in the stunning coral setting was simply breathtaking and I feel very privileged that they shared their home with me for so much of my time there. The food was varied and plenty of it, as were the drinks. Our beach bungalow was spacious & comfortable. The Diverland guys are great, highly recommend Stingray City. The back massage at Serena Spa was incredibly relaxing. For us the staff at the bar made our trip even more magical as did our waiter… A perfect place to have shared our 25 years together ❤️
