Teddy Bear Boutique Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for a night, just before my hike up to Emei Mountain from Baguo temple. The owners are so kind and the room had a nice wooden cabin feeling. There was no smoke smell, which was great for me! I also had dinner there and it was so delicious! Then Andy gave me a personal Emei mountain map and gave me some advice. The next day I left early and I could just leave my luggage there for storage. Only 1 tip: if you have the room on the top floor be prepared to carry up your luggage since there's no elevator in the building💪🏻

The room was near the tourist information center, but the bathroom wasn't clean. I stayed for two nights, but they didn't clean the room. There was no shower gel provided either.

We came to Teddy's after we read positive reviews on blogs from other foreign backpackers. Everything they said was true: the rooms are very cosy (with extra heating for the bed and a very good, hot shower). The owner is also extremely helpful with finding the best hiking options on Mount Emei. We also had a great breakfast before we started hiking and we could leave our luggage, free of charge. I would definitely come back here. 😊

Good location, nice and helpful owner, comfortable bed and all commodities: towels, toilet paper, heater, water, slippers, even toothbrush ! It was possible to leave our luggage for a few days. They also have a restaurant if you want to eat there or have breakfast!

The quickest and friendliest check-in I have ever had- no computer, just a notebook where the owner crossed off my name. She was also so nice to let me check in well be for the official check-in time. The hotel is on a quiet side street, so no noises affecting your sleep. It is around the corner from lots of restaurants and the bus station to Emeishan mountain. The hotel is very clean and rooms have everything for a comfortable stay. I only stayed for one night, but I would have stayed longer if I had had the time.

The staff is really nice and helpful. They speak English. They gave me advice for visiting the area and help me with a money issue I had. They also prepare food which is really convenient after a long day hiking. I could left my bag before check in. The guesthouse is 3 min walking distance from the bus station to go to the scenic area.

It is foreigner friendly and great value for money. It is not a 5* hotel but ideally located, very nice staff who can explain you how to get around the mountain. I’d go back
