Hotel & Spa Terraza 4 Sup

We stayed here last summer and booked again as we really liked the hotel. A couple of things let it down on this occasion. The beach sun beds were reserved as soon as it opened …. Not nearly enough to accommodate the size of the hotel …. So we tried the few around the pool area … no shade, and not many loungers … alternative was to sit in chairs around the breakfast area … not very relaxing and uncomfortable seats. It was only a three night stay but managed to get a sun-bed for 1 day only … spoilt it as we couldn’t properly relax and some of the reserved beds were unoccupied for hours. Second slight thing that wasn’t very good our order for food was totally wrong maybe the young waitress was new? It was rectified by the more experienced girl so no issue. All in all a great hotel everything else was perfect . But do feel the sun-bed problem needs addressing.

After a long and busy week at work, I decided to treat myself to a night at the seaside. After seeing the beautiful views on the hotel's website, I upgraded to a sea-view room with a terrace to relax and unwind. I was genuinely excited on the drive there, imagining myself on the terrace, copa in hand, soaking up the calming views of the Med. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the promise. The room I was given—on the first floor—offered only a partial sea view, with most of the outlook dominated by the decorative stones on the restaurant roof below. It was a real letdown. I immediately returned to reception to ask if I could be moved to a proper sea-view room, but was told none were available. I even asked to be downgraded to a standard room, hoping for some honesty in pricing, but again, no availability. I was left feeling disappointed and misled—this simply wasn’t what I had paid for. The room itself was lovely, and I can’t fault the service from the restaurant and bar staff, who were great. Breakfast was excellent, too. But it’s a shame that no gesture, explanation, or partial refund was offered at reception to soften the blow — just indifferent shoulder shrugs. I was too tired to fight. A lovely hotel, but I’d urge others to double-check exactly what kind of “sea view” they’re booking.

Staying here now … this hotel is perfect, parking was easy we managed to get a space outside but it does have a garage. Sea view room is lovely … everything provided, kettle, coffee making, comfortable bed and pillows, good balcony furniture. All the food we have had so far is excellent, breakfast is very relaxed no mad dashing dodging people as usual chaotic food times seem to be in most hotels. Very efficient friendly staff and the whole place is immaculately clean. Definitely stay here if visiting Roses.

Lovely modern spa hotel. Very professional, multilingual staff. Great situation as it’s located between the old town (1km) and the larger modern hotels (1km). Easy to navigate there as it’s on the main road into town Opposite the old walled fortifications. Excellent breakfast (the restaurant wasn’t quite open at our visit). Spacious, comfortable public areas. Good size swimming pool set in an enclosed green area. Beautifully clean beach 10m from the hotel. Carpeted stairs and floors make this a very quiet hotel guaranteeing you a good nights sleep. We had one of the best massages in the spa which is situated on the top floor. The spa is a delight and has friendly professional staff looking after you. The view from the spa pool is amazing with a virtually 360 degree field of view. Roses is a great place for families with a great beach and marvellous views of Roses bay. Has a lot of water sport opportunities and boat trips around the beautiful coast. There’s a large parachute 🪂 school nearby and a parachute simulator for the less adventurous. Definitely worth a visit.

We booked in to the Hotel Spa Terraza on a Monday afternoon and from the moment we arrived our welcome couldn't have been better. The member of staff working at the reception couldn't have been more helpful. She checked us in, explained the keys and the car parking, and even met us 2 minutes later in the (quite tight) garage with a luggage trolley. We went to our rooms to settle in. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Lovely balcony looking over the beach and the hotel's private garden. I even had a lovely welcome when I had to return to the reception desk less than 5 minutes later when I'd lost my key card - thank you. The next morning the welcome and quality of the buffet in the restaurant was brilliant along with the welcome, food and service in Bims. Montse (sp.) and the team were a credit to you on both days. The young person giving out towels in the 'beach garden' was polite and v helpful. Very comfortable sun beds and lovely towels. The ladies cleaning the rooms on our floor (2) were just delightful. Rooms were immaculate. Everyone working at reception - fantastic. We would love to come back, so we're saving our pennies / cents. Thank you everyone A couple of things stopped me making this 5 stars. - you might want to consider coffee making facilities in rooms. Lots of people like a coffee first thing/ before breakfast. - the seats on our balconies were not comfortable. It meant we didn't take full advantage of this seating area with a great view. - consider warning people booking parking that space in the garage is quite tight to park a large car.

It's listed as a 4-star but I beg the differ. Standout issues: 1) AC barely functional; you couldn't feel the cool unless you stood directly under it. The room was balmy at best. When I mentioned it at the front desk, the bogus excuse was to set it to 24 or 25, wait a long while, and it'll start to cool. huh?!? Of course this didn't work. Basically, it was an old system and you likely have to pay for an upgraded room category to get a functional AC. In short, don't get a room that has a dial AC unit. BTW they didn't offer a room switch and seemed apathetic to the whole issue. (2) Don't expect quick service at the outdoor bar area. It was clear they were short staff with only one "functional" employee serving all of the customers (while the "bartender" disappeared for periods of time and seemed to be complaining the rest of the time). We waited for well over 30 minutes before I sought out the server. And even at that, they didn't come to our table for perhaps another 20 - 30 minutes. And no apologies for slow service. Clearly management hasn't set hiring for their high revenue area their top priority. (3) Had to ask for refills of the Rituals products in the bathroom, which they defended were filled everyday. (4) This was the ONLY hotel I've ever stayed at that didn't ask "how was your stay?" nor have I received a post-stay review. It's clear they don't care. It's probably in their mission statement. This hotel is listed as a 4-star (!!). Don't expect a 4-start experience; you'll be disappointed. I believe what is making it a 4-star is the oceanfront location and the large common areas. Closing with a "plus" note: the breakfast was good. Will not return to this hotel.
