This is a beautiful B&B out in the country but close to Bayeux (so convenient for dinner), the Normandy beaches and other attractions such as the lovely Brecy garden. The hosts, Florence and Dominique, are very considerate and helpful, they go out of their way to help their guests. I very much enjoyed staying there and Bayeux is a very interesting town. Don’t miss the Bayeux tapestry!

Gorgeous property located about 8kms from Bayeux so perfect for exploring the D-Day beaches as well as the many other interesting historic sites and architecture, and of course the fabulous Bayeux tapestry.

Florence and Dominique were perfect hosts. Great conversation. Charming farmhouse chateaux. Lovely breakfasts. Nice sitting room. Only downside was bumping my head in dormer roofed room on top floor.

Les Chaufourniers is a haven of peace surrounded by greenery, strategically located to visit Calvados region. Florence and Dominique surprised us with an upgrade to our room :) very spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! I loved the decor of the whole place. Breakfast is plentiful with croissants, bread and jams, homemade cakes, yoghurt, fruit, etc. Dominique always makes sure that everything is ok and in general you can perceive the attention and total availability towards the guests. This was really appreciated! They were very kind and provided us with many useful tips on places to visit and dine! Highly recommend :)

A lovely presented property with fantastic welcome from Florence and Dominique. We loved the natural chuckles from Dominique, the warmth given at check in and the efficient bookings made with their recommended eateries....which were spot on for price, variety and presentation. We only stayed two nights but felt we left as friends. Well worthy of their excellent TripAdvisor rating.

De eigenaars vertelde ons dat zij deze B&B reeds 20 jaren beheerden. Wat we later ook merkten in de aansturing naar het aangenaam maken van je verblijf. Heb je vragen over de streek, stel deze gerust aan de eigenaars, je krijgt een zeer grote hoeveelheid aan info. Gaande van tips over restaurants, musea, bezienswaardigheden als reistips. De kamer werd dagelijks in orde gebracht, het ontbijt wordt met zorg geserveerd. Wij hadden tijdens ons verblijf geen enkele bemerking of aanmerking te maken. De locatie bleek vroeger een boerderij welke met veel zorg en kennis werd omgetoverd tot deze occomodatie. Deze plaats biedt rust, gezelligheid en een goed gevoel. Dus alles bij elkaar een aan te raden locatie, zeker weten. b

Séjour : arrivée le Lundi 16 juin 2025 en soirée et départ le vendredi 20 au matin. Très jolie cadre de verdure, chaleureux accueil par un couple adorable, chambres confortables, décorées avec soins et beaucoup de goût. Nos hôtes toujours a l’écoutent. Ils nous ont donné de nombreux conseils pour visiter, pour déjeuner et diner. Le petit déjeuner sur place est excellent avec gâteaux, confiture, jus de fruit fait maison. Dommage de ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps. Bayeux et les alentours magnifiques avec en plus un beau soleil. Tout est propre les gens agréables. Nous avions l’impression de revivre. Escapade enchantée !... A refaire rapidement !... Alain, Pascale, Monique.

Un grand merci à Florence et Dominique pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse, leurs bons conseils sur les endroits où dîner, les musées à visiter, les promenades pédestres...! La chambre spacieuse, décorée avec goût, d'une propreté irréprochable, dans une superbe demeure et un parc magnifique nous a comblée et les petits déjeuners...un régal !!!
