Tidy hotel in the middle of Monmouth, no parking on site but plenty of public car parking near by. Basic but good menu well priced, fantastic breakfast for £9.00 extra with coffee or tea included. Tidy comfortable en-suite rooms, brilliant staff, can recommend!

Friendly pub with great rooms thrid night I have stayed and in a different room, again well equiped, cleamn and comfortable with in keeping decor. Staff always friendly and I managed to have a great breakfast on this occassion

Whilst a small room it was well equipped and quiet despite being on the main thoroughfare. Limited choice for breakfast which may not always be the case as they were having some work done at the time of our stay but we were advised of good alternatives nearby.

Lovely pub with welcoming staff Warm welcome, cosy room with cool decor bed was comfy, coffee machine welcome in the morning… shower cubicle a tad small for a 6 footer but did the job! Slightly noise first thing with the road sweeper as at front of the property…. Would stay again!!

Lovely hotel, great little town. Great hotel for the price, right at the top end of the main street. Comfy bed with quality bedding. Lovely pub downstairs, with TV screens. Marked down slightly on comfort, as other guests leaving in the am, going past the door, wake you up, if you'd like a bit of a lie-in.

Staff were very friendly and welcomed our furry babies with open arms. Really good value will definitely be back. Food was amazing too so recommend spending the evening in the bar / restaurant. Thanks 👍

Lovely Monmouth Inn Great Inn in the lovely town on Monmouth. My room was great with really comfortable bed. Great shower, fantastic breakfast, and all the staff were super friendly!

Great staff, good food & drink, but..... We spent our 1st night in room 7 which was not the room we'd booked. After speaking with Tash, she said that the listing is incorrect on *******. The room is due to be refurbished and has a badly cracked basin and an unusable shelf above it. A complimentary drink smoothed the disappointment and we slept well. After spending most of the following day mooching around Monmouth we returned and were offered a change of room to room 4. This is a recently refurbished room to the standard that we were expecting when we booked. We happily changed rooms. I wish we hadn't. At 3am we were woken by what we thought was a very loud extractor fan. This ran until 3.25am. It stopped for 5mins then ran for 15mins, stopped for 5min's and then ran for another 15mins. The more it ran the louder it got. I fell asleep around 4.30am but my wife was awake longer. The staff at the Punch House are great and were as helpful as they could be, but that couldn't make up for the disturbed night in room 4
