DO NOT COME HERE I am never one to leave reviews but I am so dissatisfied with my stay I had to share. There is absolutely no customer service and everyone we talked to was either rude or flat out ignored us. The website lies about their schedule the restaurant was closed by 2 pm. There were radios for communication and none of them had battery. The bathrooms look old and rusted and honestly it’s just not worth $400 a night. Go to Casa Bruma or El Cielo instead. Valle de Guadalupe is beautiful but the this hotel’s customer service is flat out non existent. The one part was the drivers that were very polite and attentive.

Our stay was highly dissapointing and quite frankly, unacceptable. For the luxury hotel rates, their service and hospitality is borderline non existent. We booked three rooms for our group of 7, where 3 of us were going to stay in a double room. The team proceed to tell us only 2 people could stay per room after we had called a few days prior to confirm. The rooms are old and need maintenance with the sink and shower heads rusting. They have walkie talkies to communicate with the front desk and they were The restaurant staff was extremely rude, rushing for us to get out after charging us $200 for 2 bottles of wine. We were in the hot tub and when we asked if there were any towels they pointed at a plastic bag saying “you get can them from there”. Clearly the Encuentro Guadalupe team does not know what hospitality and service means. It’s honestly super sad given Valle is such a gorgeous destination. Special shoutout to the hotel drivers, who were the only attentive people in the property. If you’re coming to Valle, please don’t stay here and choose a place like Casa Bruma or El Cielo instead.

Loved it here and will def be back! The rooms are small but very well designed with epic views. The shower was fantastic (was a little concerned there might not be much power - but it was lux). I absolutely loved walking out onto a dirt path in the mountains. And the pool is small but stunning with great food. Heads up there's no room service for food and pool food I think is closed Tues. But the area has AMAZING restaurants. *****io and Deckmans are musts. We also had a sound bath/meditation with a woman named Mars who came to the hotel. Was all around a wonderful experience.

A unique experience for anyone who is looking for an elevated glamping vibe. The pods are built into the rock and provide amazing views of the valle. The staff was fantastic! They were available for any questions/concerns and responded quickly to our requests (shuttle pick up, campfire support, etc.) Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return!

This hotel is lovely. The metal pods that dot the mountain landscape lend a unique design aesthetic, but they aren’t actually super cozy inside. They are simple - for example no closet, drawers, or cabinets to put your stuff away. The beds were very comfortable. The temperature controls and blinds worked perfectly in our room and sunlight in the early morning wasn’t a problem. The chairs all around the balconies and in our room were very chic, just not very comfy to sit in for longer than a few moments. The rain shower was incredible. I think due to the septic system there was a slight sewage smell at first that the hotel was luckily able to remedy quickly. I would highly recommend breakfast at Toba. They use very fresh ingredients and the service was top notch. They also provide great margaritas while sitting at the pool. Hanging out poolside is a great activity, but if you love shade be prepared as there are no umbrellas. It’s a beautiful view and later in the day they play upbeat music. Another activity on the property is hiking. I followed the road way back into the hills and there is a lot of natural beauty to check out. The wine tasting building is no longer open. There is a very bumpy dirt road to access everything from the paved highway. Definitely bring sneakers as you travel everywhere on dirt paths.

I stated here for two nights with a friend last month. I’m not sure why the reviews aren’t better as I had such a great experience. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - cool architecture and design - A/C was cold (needed it during the hot time we went) - lovely pool area and restaurant - best of all was the service (they went out of your way to help with resys and the shuttle was always ready to take you anywhere without even needing you to call them) Cons: - our window shade stopped working on day 2 so we couldnt open it up
