We had the most holiday at this hotel. The staff make you feel so special, nothing is too much trouble. They run the hotel like a dream! All staff are extremely friendly and make you feel so welcome. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, the room was gorgeous with the most beautiful sea view. The restaurant is well run and works well and the food choices are good and change daily. There is a nightly entertainment programme and Sunday is one not to be missed. The Tenors are absolutely fantastic! We went half board, but upgraded to all inclusive on the first day for €50 per person, per day. The tram down to the private beach is a bonus as there are a LOT of stairs. The beach restaurant is included in the all inclusive package and you get to visit for dinner once during your stay. Make sure you do this as the lamb is the best I’ve ever had! We also visited Vertigo, which is not included in the package. That was lovely, but service was a little slow. We took the bus into Corfu which is well worth the €14 return fare, and we hired a boat with a skipper. That was an amazing day as you visit secluded beaches and fascinating caves! This hotel is quite remote so be prepared to relax for the duration of your stay. This hotel is truly worth a visit!

Friendly staff always willing to help no matter I have no complaints. Just back from a week there. Where they will take you to your apparent min a wee buggy which is good they will also pick you up if you wave them down. Was good for me as I have asthma and so of the road is quite steep

1. People are routinely reserving the sun beds with their towels and then not coming back to actually use the sun-beds for hours at a time; no staff around to monitor or stop this from happening. 2. No one round the pool asking if anyone wants any drinks 3. Very few of the sunshades are actually functional because most have lost the metal pins that are needed to keep them up. Under half actually usable. Also no staff around to help put them up; they are heavy and require two people, one to hold it up whilst the other person puts the pin in. 4. Two snooker tables in the main part of the hotel but all but one of the snooker cues have the tops broken off of them so can’t be used. The one remaining (barely) working one has to be shared amongst players which essentially means only one of the snooker tables can actually be used by people. 5. No caramel for caramel lattes which was a shame. 6. The mountain/cliff the hotel and rooms are spread out and it is so steep it is impossible for anyone to get to and from their room and the main area of the hotel or down to the beach without using either the cable-car type lift or the golf-cart taxi service. There aren’t enough people driving the golf carts (usually only one being driven at any one time, two at a push) to ensure there isn’t at least a 10 minute wait each time a journey is needed, and the cable car wait when it’s working, is extremely slow (15mins wait time +); also only 8 people are able to safely fit in the cable car at any one time so if it arrives on your level there is no guarantee you will actually be able to travel in it. This hotel site is not recommended for anyone with reduced mobility, or anyone fearful of heights (the cable car ride is slightly terrifying although the view is beautiful). This also means you should leave plenty of time to get whatever desired food slot you were hoping for (breakfast/lunch/dinner) as often you will miss it due to having to wait to be collected. They also don’t drop you off at your room they drop you off at the end of the road so again it’s not recommended for people with reduced mobility. 7. The hotel offers all-inclusive packages but a lot of the hotel guests are not all inclusive meaning that all inclusive guests can’t really make the most out of the all inclusive drink perks because there are hardly any staff taking drinks orders and wait times for drinks at the bar are long; at least in comparison to other tui hotels (have stayed in tui blue hotels in Elounda, Zante and in Cape Verde that have all been brilliant). 8. Beach area not sandy; looks man-made and covered in coconut fibres underfoot in place of sand or pebbles. Not a problem, we just weren’t aware ahead of this; feels weird under foot. Went snorkelling in the sea and a lot of it you couldn’t see anything because of where the coconut/palm fibre had clearly been pushed out into the ocean over time (by weather?) making the water clarity murky. 9. Loads of beautiful animals to see

Returned from the hotel last week We had a nice time. Food was really nice and plenty to choose from Our room was nice except for the shower as it kept flooding the bathroom if you had it on full, on the first night I was cleaning it up . It was clean but they did forget to leave us breakfast tea bags so we had to leave message for more. We were in first block from the top 200 onwards it was steep to walk up to restaurant and pool but the buggy service was perfect. We were really looked after by the staff in the main restaurant especially Thanasis he even had the wine ready for us as we walked in and with a smile. I must say that the drinks were not really up to a 5 star level the cocktails were really weak and it was great around the pool there were so many loungers you never worried that you would not get one the only thing missing was a nice mattress on them Although there were problems we did enjoy our stay as the staff made it enjoyable

Had my first all over body massage, although I was a touch apprehensive, the lovely therapist Mikella put me straight to ease with her pleasant professional and caring manner. Mikellla managed to iron out a few knots that I knew I had and more importantly a few I didn’t realise I had. The whole experience from start to finish was a memorable one that everyone should experience. To Mikella and the team, thank you all.

The hotel and location ticked every box in terms of the relaxing break we were looking for and we would definitely return in the future. However, I have to echo some of the comments from previous reviews as to why we have given it a 4 and not a 5. Location Yes quite remote with only one other taverna on the beach but if you’ve done your research before you go this should not come as a surprise. For us the hotel offered everything we needed for a great holiday. Room We were in the main block below reception with a wonderful sea view. To be honest, we hadn’t considered room location before we arrived but were so pleased to be at the top end of the resort after speaking to other couples who were further down the hill and had to rely on either the electric carts or the funicular to get round. Our location meant we had easy access to the pool, main buffet and evening entertainment. With regard to the room itself, although spacious it was a little dated and the bathroom was definitely in need of a refurb with quite a lot of mould in the shower unit. Room cleaning also left a lot to be desired, the bed wasn’t always made up properly, drinks weren’t always replaced in the fridge and the balcony wasn’t cleaned once during our stay. Food Main buffet - quite a good offering for breakfast, lunch and dinner but there could have been more cereals in the morning, the food could have been hotter and this must be one of the few hotels where you can’t help yourself to ice cream (had to be requested). Culinarium - our favourite, located at the beach and served lovely lunches during the day and exceptional food on an evening in a stunning setting…highly recommend the Kleftiko. Vertigo - can’t comment but it did seem under used and perhaps could be put to better use. Service I would say 99% of the staff were very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you….our waiter in the main buffet was superb and didn’t like to see an empty wine glass !! Pool bar and waiter service during the day was good, however it was very hit and miss on an evening. We tried to avoid queuing at the bar as it was a bit of a lottery so just waited until one of the waiters came round to the table. Entertainment Again no complaints at all…do not miss the Tenors on a Sunday evening, superb !! Bus to Corfu Town We used this once. It was 7 euros per person each way, took approx 30 mins and was great value. Was really impressed with Corfu Town itself. Beach We enjoyed using the beach which offered a nice alternative to the main pool and a great choice of drinks at the beach bar. Please remember your beach shoes as there are quite a few stones as you enter the sea. Also, a special mention and thanks to Costas who was always on hand to sort the sunbeds as you arrived on the beacch. In summary, a lovely hotel but to justify a 5 star rating needs to update the rooms, improve housekeeping and review the drinks service on an evening.

A beautiful setting and as Abdul the waiter said best ‘the two mountains don’t meet, however the people in the middle do’. We upgraded to a suit, inland view as more space for my pregnant wife to relax in the shade. The food was great and the staff all busy but friendly. Good facilities and happy TUI reps filling your day with laughter (silent disco was fab). Our first night was difficult though, a long day and a much needed early night but no such luck as the entertainment on the evening was loud (and very out of tune) on the Friday night, we retired at 9pm and the music was vibrating through our pillows through to 23:45. We did ask to be moved rooms the following morning, however informed there was nothing available apart from a pool suit for an extra £150 per night £1000 over the week. I was happy to down grade from our suit for no return but advised I would need to speak with TUI to do that and to try another night and see how it was. The entertainment did get better but no chance of an early night nor sleeping until after 23:00. (the Tenors were brilliant). The room was ok, sliding doors didn’t work and the balcony overrun with ants daily, meaning we couldn’t really use it unless we put our feet on the table. The inland suit view was also very disappointing, we had the beauty of the back of the kitchen, AC units and delivery area which brought its own noise. I hate to be grumpy and we did make the most of what is otherwise a nice hotel, the spa and pool are fab although getting served does take a bit of time. Our overall experience was hampered by the issues highlighted but all mainly focused on our room and it’s location (noise and view). Not great when you have a tired pregnant wife who just wants to sleep when she wants to lol. Others loved their experience, we made some good friends and enjoyed the sun in this beautiful location. Do read more reviews to get a wider perspective as we picked this place based on the excellent reviews on TA.

Just got home from a week at the Atlantica - wow! Arrived mid afternoon, room was ready and we were taken by golf buggy with our luggage to our room (454) which was a double with private pool and sea view. Not a huge room but plenty big enough for us, bathroom had a separate shower and a bath, a lovely south facing terrace and an unheated pool. Bathroom had refillable toiletries, plenty of towels that were changed whenever we wanted and pool towels. You got a towel card for towels at the spa but you don’t need them in a pool room. Bed was huge and comfy, loved that there was a decent duvet - I don’t care if it was 30degrees I love the weight of a duvet. The hotel is based on the hillside and our room was some distance from the main building but the golf buggy service is available and you can ring reception for one or walk a short distance to the meeting points. We walked down from dinner each night as it wasn’t that steep to go down. There is a little cable car/funicular from the main building down to the beach that also stops a some of the room levels. We didn’t do the All Inclusive as I don’t drink and my OH only drinks lager and we aren’t big eaters either so can’t really offer any review on that side of things. There was huge choice for food every day and catered for every taste, the desserts were especially lovely. The hotel offer a bus service at €7 pp ew into Corfu Town a couple of times a day and it takes about 30 minutes dropping you near the Fort and a short distance from the town centre. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble and always happy to chat and have a laugh. The downside for us was the remoteness of the hotel - stunning location but there really is nothing else there. There is lots on offer at the hotel and they offer excursions but you aren’t having a wander in the evening to see anything else or have a drink or a bite to eat. This would be the defining reason that we wouldn’t go again. However we have returned home relaxed, rested and tanned after sitting in 33 degrees. Thanks to everyone at AGM who made our week so special 🥰
