You know when you leave a place wanting for more time there, it’s a great thing. Brothers Salem and Moha have created such a thoughtful and authentic camp in the desert. From the beautifully appointed tents, to the delicious food, learning about the music and history of the Amizigh (Berber) culture…they have thought of it all and create a genuine connection with their guests. We would highly recommend at least a 2 night stay in this magical locale.

JUST WOW. The beauty of the desert what in incredible surprise! and this, a most artful place. Superb meal. Welcoming. Relaxing. Friendly and laid back. Gourmet kitchen, evening music, star gazing. Bliss! 5 star accommodations under the stars!

Four of us stayed here and wished immediately that we had booked a longer stay. This is a jewel in the pink desert expertly run by Mohamed and his brother: our beautiful black tents were a feast for the eyes and the soul, super comfortable as we never would have expected. Each tent is filled with gorgeous Moroccan rugs and handmade hand painted furniture: they even had straw hats for you. The small modern bathroom was perfectly appointed with everything you would need. Totally charming and so quiet! Excellent mattresses and outside the tent there is a personal little “sit and relax” area. Our meal in the restaurant tent was a revelation: gourmet meal international/Moroccan and delicious. Drumming and singing and then stargazing filled the evening after dinner. The highlight of our Moroccan adventure!

Magical. The tents are beautifully decorated and have everything you need. Great bed, pillows and linen, good and hot bath, a living room, fruits, tea and water. There is just a few of them, and that’s perfect because the hosts can give the guests better attention - said Moha, one of the co-owners. And that’s absolutely true. The dromedary ride was so fun and surprisingly relaxing. The service is impeccable, so gentle, Salem’s (Moha’s brother and also co-owner) food is delicious, made with local seasonal ingredients and just the right international touch - he is an experienced chef - and the drums and singing by the fire are incredibly energetic. We also learned about the amazigh history and culture. The night was amazingly starry. It was a very special moment of our Moroccan trip that I will cherish forever. MAGICAL. Go and experience for yourself - and thank me later. :)))

Everything was perfect! From the pick up near the desert, to the beautiful room (which had everything one could wish for - all amenities, fresh fruit and water) and the food was simply amazing! Probably the best I ate during the whole trip. Salem is an exceptional host and Moha showed us around: from the dunes to a oasis, a local berber pizza for lunch and visiting nomads. I can’t recommend it enough! Especially the dromedar ride the morning. It was amazing!

We spent two nights at this camp as part of a 4-day organized tour between Fes and Marrakech. The booking was made by our tour organizer, so we did not know exactly what to expect. However, we were completely blown away by the beauty and comfort of the camp! All of the spaces are decorated tastefully and beautifully. The food was better than we could have ever imagined from a desert camp. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. In addition to the appearance, the staff truly make this camp shine, and all of the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even went as far as to organize a surprise birthday cake for one of our group members to help make her day ultra-special. The location is breath-taking, and leaves travellers with everything they hope for by making the trip all the way out to the Sahara. The camp's commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism, and a dedication to showcasing the beauty of the local culture and people, shine through in all aspects. I couldn't recommend this camp enough, and if you have an opportunity to stay here, take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

This is one of the friendliest, most hospitable beautiful experiences I've ever had. Salim and co made our stay super comfortable and special for my partners 30th birthday! The camp offers stunning views, excellent food and there is a consciousness about the environment and the culture surrounding the Sahara and Amazigh people. I cannot recommend this experience enough and will definitely be back!

There are many camps in Erg Chebbi and after much research we decided on this camp tour for 2 night and one day trip. It was expertly organised and everything luxurious and felt very personal. From the beautiful tents with antique rugs to the Japanese /Moroccan degustation meals with wine. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Ask to see the desert foxes/Gnawa village music and city market. Excellent explanation of the history of Morocco given by Salem in the evening after the music. Very personalised luxury tour.

Going to the desert is an experience in and of itself, staying at Pueblo Touareg takes that experience to another level. You are surrounded by sand dunes and tranquility. The campsite has spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped tents. The food provided is as good as a Michelin rated restaurant (with a great wine list too). And the service was exceptional. Mohamed, his brother (the chef) and their team are all a pleasure to be around. They are locals with a wealth of knowledge about the area, people and customs. My biggest regret was only staying 1 night. We plan to visit again and stay longer next time and catch the spectacular sunsets over the Merzouga Desert. I recommend it to anyone; young, old, friends, family, couples, singles.
