Our 4-day, 3-night trip with Kam Kam Dunes was exceptional! Starting in Fez and ending in Marrakech, the journey was well-organized and filled with unforgettable experiences. Said and Brahim, our driver and guide, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we felt at home in the Sahara Desert. Their knowledge of the area added a special touch to the trip. Thank you for an amazing experience!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Kam Kam Dunes two nights for New Year's Eve. The hospitality and the kindness of the Berbers were incredible. We really felt at home. Our tent was private and it was so large, clean and comfortable. The food was good and the portions very big. The Berbers working at Kam Kam were always helpful, friendly, smiling. And the typical music and dances on New Year's Eve were unforgettable! Kam Kam also arranged for us a ride from Marrakech to the desert camp and from the camp to Fez, with a driver who was helpful, on time and friendly all the time.

Where do I start Firstly, owners and managers of Kamkam I hope you appreciate the assets of which work for you at kamkam dunes. I have had the best day/ days of my life with both Rachid (pronounced rasheed and for the purpose of this review will be known as R (driver) and Hussain (host) We booked the 2 night kamkam experience and it was superb: only problem was. It wasn’t long enough!! Id thoroughly recommend to book 3 nights to enjoy the splendour of sunrise and sunset and soak up the magic of the Sahara. Of course if you want to connect to WiFi, have air con and a pool - this place is not for you. To switch off, reconnect and have an incredible experience - can’t recommend it enough. Having a private driver (you can choose private or bus) was amazing and R pulled out all of the stops to make sure our experience of the desert and the (2 days) travelling there and back were perfect. I am obsessed with animals so any opportunity for pictures of camels, donkey, desert fox - nothing was too much to ask of this friendly, slightly crazy Rachid. Having been in the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh for a day either side of the desert I was wary of being alone with strangers but I can really reassure you these are completely different people, different morals, so kind, caring and giving back to the land of the desert - compared. We did the excursions ( atv 50 euros each quad for one hour - we did this with merzouga tours as it was a good location in relation to the dunes - no time wasted getting onto the dunes) We visited nomad families to see how they lived, R helped me (bartered!!) go shopping for traditional dress (in Marrakesh they have £30 more in tourist tax!!) R welcomed us to his home, let me feed the baby camel they had rescued as the mother had died. The days are totally fluid and freestyle there is no English timings for get here do this rush rush. Simply enjoy the moment with your eyes. If you want anything, to know anything just ask! As for the camp, it’s located in a good position, away from many of the other camps which are on the other side of the dunes. It is clean, breakfast is sufficient, the view is amazing, dinner is MASSIVE. Like a 4 course dinner, salad starter, then two courses of meats and pasta based dishes. Then fruit. You should get two bottles of red wine included / or beer but I brought white wine from the supermarket as preference. I was concerned about the amount of food prepared and wasted because we just couldn’t eat it all and Hussain assured me nothing is wasted. Water and orange juice is always available just ask. If you go to morroco you really must take the time to visit the Sahara. Not agafay - the locals laugh at this being called a desert, but merzouga. I said I would request that Rachid get a pay rise in this review but he said giving us a good experience was more important for him. But still he should get one. Thank you for the safe trip and giving me the best day of my life. I have left fre

I booked a private solo tour with Kam Kam Dunes and stayed there for 2 nights. My driver Said and guide Brahim were the best and were easy to talk with and made the trip so much fun! They were very knowledgeable and had friends in each town we passed through. The camp was very well kept, clean, and quiet. One of the main reasons I picked this camp was due to it's distance from the other, more commercial camps, as it meant complete peace and quiet. The camp staff were all very friendly, Yassine was an excellent host and provided entertainment after the evening music with riddles and drum lessons. The day outing involved visiting a nomad camp, a mine (Star Wars vibes), Sudanese village, ATV quading (do it!), a Kasbah with a pool/spa, and a camel ride at sunset. You can always change where you go ahead of your visit, but for me this was the perfect balance of activities and down-time. I can't recommend Kam Kam Dunes enough. I never felt pressured and as a solo traveller felt safe the entire time. If you want to visit the desert, do it with them!

Amazing experience in Kamkam dunes. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much we didn’t want to leave. Service is exeptional and every night they have a little bonfire concert under the stars. Supper and breakfast are a 10. Our guide Said was the best, he took us to very exclusive places and treated us amazingly. We will come back for sure!!!

The tents are well appointed with beds, couches, toilet sink and shower. The staff there couldn’t be more pleasant and attentive. A 20 min ride from Merzouga over the dunes. Dinner and after dinner concert: Berber music. Camel ride and sand surfing at sunset. Such an amazing experience!

Kam Kam Dunes is in the Sahara and must be reached by a 4x4 vehicle. The tents have a bathroom and shower but you enjoy the feeling of the surrounding desert. The staff is amazing. The food is great and musical entertainment after dinner was a treat that we all could participate with. Yassim, who did everything from carrying our bags to serving dinner was just a pleasure to talk to and learn about the Sahara. Our 4x4 driver, Ibraham, was also most helpful as he took us to meet nomadic Berber people. An experience in Morocco not to be missed!

You cannot miss such an awesome experience with friends / family. It was unreal! The tents were comfortable and such an interesting concept. I had the 3d2n tour, by our amazing tour guide Hassan!! He has an amazing personality and is funny and hospitable. He drove for many hours and kept us on track with our schedule for the tour. He also made us feel comfortable and happy always. The sunset camel riding was a dream come true. The staff at Kam Kam dunes were super nice, made an amazing dinner and breakfast + performed some songs around the campfire as well! At night, you can enjoy the most beautiful stargazing experience as well. Definitely recommend Hassan as your guide, you’ll be lucky to get him 🤍

The experience was once in a lifetime. The site and tents were in true Moroccan flare with 5 star comfort. This Kam Kam was out in the middle of Sahara dessert and had no feeling of being a tourist trap. The sunset camel riding and sand surfing was amazing. The tour of the Sahara desert offered a glimpse into the Nomadic lifestyle, etc. The staff was friendly, interactive and fun. They made the trip! The food was delicious. I cannot state enough how this was truly an amazing experience.
