Premier Inn Exeter City Centre

The location of this hotel is excellent! Lovely, quiet area and close to the cathedral and high street. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the best pillows I’ve experienced in all my travels. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. If you choose to have breakfast out, try the Cosy Club next door for a quirky atmosphere and delicious food!

Always choose Premier Inns whenever we travel the Uk, as always clean, modern and friendly service. One thing and one thing only……no toilet brush in toilet!!!

Stayed overnight with my wife, the hotel is well located, tucked in behind the Cathedral within easy walking distance of the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room typical Premier in decor but clean and bright. The layout of the bar and restaurant was good and made for a relaxing time, also reasonably priced. One lift was out of action but happy to use the stairs, if the other not readily available, a minor inconvenience and these things happen. Would gladly stay again when visiting Exeter.

Enjoyed stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, comfortable and felt safe. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Basic hotel within very good walking distance of the Quay and city plus local colleges (my reason for staying). Would recommend.

We have stayed in many Premier Inns. I think this was the worst. The bathroom was leaking water onto the floor and had clearly been doing so for a while. The curtains were hanging off the rails slightly. The wifi was poor and interrupted watching the TV as well as disconnecting from phone all the time. The staff were great though. Friendly and approachable. All the issues appeared to be related to maintenance and were things that management need to address.

Good stay part from there was one lift down this meant waiting longer for the lift. Staff were very helpful Cleanliness within the Restaurant, Bar and Reception could be better I noted that there was a thin layer of dust on a lot of the flat surfaces.

Premier Inn is truly a top-notch hotel with exceptional staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast options offered at Premier Inn - they truly set the perfect start to your day. Overall, I highly recommend Premier Inn for a fantastic hotel experience with the best staff, clean rooms, and perfect breakfast.

The location of this Premier Inn is a big draw for us. Only a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and centre of the shopping area. The hotel was clean and tidy, as was our room. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and had an upgraded room this time....thank you. The reception staff were efficient and friendly. Our room was quiet and bed comfortable. We did not eat in the restaurant, as we prefer to go out. The only issue is the parking. The car park that is next to the hotel is no longer in use. There is another just over a 5 minute walk and we were lucky to find a space on a Sunday late morning. Unfortunately it is a pay & display and the cost is charged daily from 8am. It would he so much easier if whoever ran the car park were to charge from your arrival time until the following day. Ie a 24hr ticket.
