Hotel is in a quiet area at the moment there are some construction works at the road outside and you have to take a dtour to go the old city.
The view from the room is perfect you can see the old castle on the hill. The people at the reception will give you a map and explain what you can do in the area. There is an underground parking for 13 euro per day.

Service was absolutely first class from email contact before arrival, help with a luggage issue upon arrival , checking out, and everything in between. All staff were really lovely and helpful and always smiling!
Food was perfect and the restaurant staff were really engaged with us, recommending items from the menu and perfect wine to accompany the food. Prices were very reasonable too.
This was my second trip to the Mercure in Koblenz and I will definitely be back. Even as a lone female traveller, I felt very comfortable which is a huge benefit to enable enjoyment of the whole trip.

The front desk service was very good, and they also gave me free drink coupons. I tasted free German beer on the night I checked in. I went to Bonn the next day and asked the front desk to help me call a taxi. The breakfast was also very rich, with hot milk

It's a 12-13 minute walk from Koblenz Central Station.
It's a modern building located in front of the bridge over the Rhine. It has air conditioning. It's about 7-8 minutes along the river from the boat dock for the Rhine boat trip, but there was construction work under the bridge so we had to take a detour. It was unpleasant.

Not recommended!! We came to Koblenz to return the car in Cologne the next day. We chose Mercure in a small city. The room was 1krmb per night, but... There were stains on the bed sheets (forgot to take a photo 😅), the shower water pressure was relatively low, and the shower head seemed to be rusted (a bit disgusting, I dare not think too much). The most annoying thing is parking! When I checked in, I asked the front desk if it was free for parking. The girl at the front desk said yes. As a result, I found that I couldn't get out of the gate the next day. I ran upstairs to ask the front desk. It turned out that they only gave me a discount, and I still needed to pay by machine 😠 What's frustrating is that the machine only speaks German! ! Omg, the front desk only said sorry, you need to operate it yourself 😡 btw the parking fee is 13 euros per night. I will not choose it next time! I feel that the Mercure brand is really not good now. .
