The accommodation is basic, but the location, the hosts and the food is not. Highly recommend a few nights here swimming with the turtles and enjoying the most delicious breakfasts and dinners including pancakes and paw paw, fish curry served with breadfruit and palusami. There were always generous helpings from our hosts who went out of their way to look after us.

Staff couldn't do enough for us food was fantastic and each day was swimming with turtles inwarm clear and safe water. The fale had actual beds which is alot better than sleeping on the floor/mattress

The fales were fantastic, and the hosts were so lovely. Leti was very generous in taking the time to give us all sorts of local tips before we arrived. The dinner was absolutely delicious. When a storm rolled in, our hosts took great measures to ensure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Despite the stormy weather we slept great and felt very well looked after.

Lovely, quiet beach fale accommodation. The beach is great for snorkeling and swimming. Beautiful sunrises to watch (if you're awake early) from your bed/balcony. Breakfast and dinner used local food, and the host was a lovely lady. Dinner was served across the road in the family house as the old one needs rebuilding. Made it feel like a true Samoan experience.

I spent three nights at Tailua Fales enjoying the wonderful hospitality and care of Teti and her family. She cooks with her heart (the meals are substantial!) and goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and.provided for. The fales have lighting, power, chairs, small table and bed (on a raised bed base). Amenities are basic but good for fale accommodation. There are only 5 fales remaining as the beachfront grass area (shown in previous reviews/photos) has been eroded by the sea. The remaining fales sit at the top of a seawall - you can still access the water from multiple places along the beach. I am returning to Manase in 2 weeks, and will be staying here again.
