big room. parking right in front of the room. staff at check in could be gründlich but maybe they just had a bad day. clean and easy to find

Comfortable and close to Takapo lake for 30minutes

A very clean, fully equipped Motel. Everything is in order. Cooking utilities are clean. Cleanest Carpet I've ever encountered. Check In is easy. Very near to Fairlie pie 😂

We booked a room for one night only. The online information stated that check-in was from 14:00-20:30. Upon arrival at 7:30 pm, there was no one at reception, and a board outside indicated that the key was in the room. The room was filthy and had a stale smell. At exactly 10am, which was the checkout time, a rude woman knocked on the door while we were packing and washing the dishes. As we were leaving, we noticed information on the wall stating that we had to wash any dishes we used, otherwise there would be a $20 charge. The lady stormed into the room and started stripping the beds. I have stayed in many places and travelled all over the world, and never have I experienced such rude and impolite behavior. We were thrown out of the room. This is not a motel, it's more like a military camp. There were also moths and bugs in the room and we did not sleep all night. What a horrific experience

The location is good. If you think the price of accommodation near Lake Tekapo is too expensive, this is a good choice. There is a very good meat pie shop opposite. The room is very cozy. There are two rooms in total that can accommodate 4 people.

This hotel is very bad. The front desk asked for extra credit card information even though I had already paid the room in full online. I think it is unreasonable for them to ask for extra credit card information. Also, the room facilities are very old, like a hotel from the 1980s. There was dust on the sofa backrest. There was a small bottle of free milk in the hotel fridge. I opened the bottle cap to drink it, but I was shocked by the black mold on the bottle cap. I don't recommend this place at all.

The reason why I stayed in Fairlie was because the hotels around Mount Cook were too expensive. I couldn't book a room with more than 2,000 yuan. I simply stayed in Fairlie, which was an hour away by car. Economic leverage determines everything. This is a very typical motel, clean and tidy. It was very quiet at night, but most of the guests that day came by motorcycle. They were warming up their cars at around 6 o'clock, which was very noisy...

We checked out at 10 o'clock, and just three minutes later, a man came and knocked on the door and asked us to check out. His attitude was not very friendly. This was one of the few unfriendly situations we encountered in New Zealand.

It was my first time staying at a motel so I was a bit nervous, but they were very accommodating to my early check-in and the room was very clean. There was also a laundry room, which was helpful for a long stay.

The environment and location are good. There are supermarkets and Asian restaurants nearby. The room is also big enough.
