Family trip Upgraded us on arrival not a lot for children to do moan about the towels and want a deposit of 10 euros per towel which seems silly

This is a very special hotel for us. It was our 5th time at Nestor and we are definitely going back next year. This is a beautiful hotel, with very nice decorated rooms, great pool area and close to everything (beach, restaurants, Ayia Napa center), but the big difference is made by the staff. Everyone is so nice, always smiling and willing to help. Special thanks to Maria who helped us with everything, and we really appreciate it. Maria, you are a truly gem for this hotel and that's why we are comming back every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We really love it here and hope to see everyone again next year. Thank you!

We had a superb stay at this lovely hotel in the heart of Ayia Napa. From the moment we checked we were made to feel welcome. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of sun beds. We upgraded our room so we had a sea view and the room was large enough and very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. We had a fridge and kettle and the room was perfectly maintained. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the drinks were well priced at the bar. There is entertainment every night and all the restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Despite its location we were not disturbed at all and the air conditioning was very good. Perfect break and we hope to return.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are brilliant, always attentive, caring, very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Every time a returning guest appeared they were greeted with very warm welcomes. They remember everyone, amazing! In the restaurant the selection of dishes at every service is superb with a wide range of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. There is always something to eat even if you are a fussy eater. The only criticism is the poor quality ice-cream, but other than that, nothing! The rooms are extremely comfortable and are cleaned every day and the ladies who clean the rooms are always pleasant and friendly with big smiles, it is a pleasure to meet hotel staff like that. The only criticism is that there are not enough power points in the rooms and unless you bring a multi adaptor with you will struggle to you use all your electrical goods at the same time. The pool and bar areas are very well laid out with plenty of sunbeds, enough for everyone! Position wise, it couldn't be better. It is a 5-minute walk to the harbour (well worth a visit, some good boat trips) and the same into the town centre where there is a broad selection of bars and restaurants, although some of them are on the expensive side (my thoughts). If you are on a board basis less than All-Inclusive you will find the Nestor Hotel is one of the cheapest places in town to eat and drink. The only noises you could hear at night from the town was from the karaoke at Tommy's Bar (21:30 to 02:00 every night. to us, not a problem) and the incessant locals on high powered motorcycles. In summary, a brilliant hotel, and a great holiday. Would we return to this establishment? DEFINITELY!!!

The nestor hotel is in the perfect location for ayia napa. Food is excellent so much choice and the cocktails are lush. Rooms modern with a shower. Pool nice and big with a lovely pool attendant Christina. You do have to pay for the beds beside pool for 20 euro for 2 but you get cold fannels fruit and icecreams and a bottle of water. They also do poolside service. Entertainment wasn't bad at the hotel either. We enjoyed the elvis night.the hotel is a mixture of couples and family's but when we arrived there was quiet a few big groups of teenager 18 to 25 years which was a bit off putting although Christina kept them under control. The staff were all lovely in the hotel very friendly. The hotel is kept very clean to high standards. I would love to go back to this hotel but we as a couple didn't like ayia napa.

Review Location This hotel is a few minutes walk to Nissi road’s pubs and restaurants. The main clubs are 15-20 minutes walk away. Airport is 45-55 minutes away depending on taxi/ coach transfer which all take the same main highway from Lanarca Airport The beach is a short 5 minute walk away Nissi beach is 45 minutes walk in the heat or a €10 taxi ride of just under 10 minutes. Rooms Most rooms are 12m and as the building is an L-shape they either face the pool which is the better view or partial sea views. A powerful hairdryer is hidden in the desk drawer The main room mirror is well lit Bathroom is pretty small, they do supply fresh towels each day and the usual tiny shower gel, body lotion and a shampoo/ conditioner in one. (Bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you prefer as it’s a combined product) Tip, bring a hanging makeup/ toiletries holder as there is one hook in the bathroom and very limited counter space Standard rooms are all twin beds that they will remake as a double if you ask A kettle, tea, coffee and milk are supplied in the room. Each room has one UK socket between the desk and mirror and another EU socket near the balcony door. No charging points near the bed. There are 20 Deluxe rooms in the corners of each floor and my photos show the difference - bigger rooms with a sofa area, much bigger bathrooms larger glass sided balconies a fresh bath robe each day and bottled water Housekeeping work hard and rooms are cleaned to a high standard if your not messy Noise My 1st room, 235 was in the middle of the corridor and as there are noisy non-soft close doors on rooms the nightly doors slamming as people left for clubs at 1am and returning at 4am-6am was enough to wake me up two nights in a row (July) If you are a light sleeper, consider a corner room or deluxe room upgrade just to get a decent night sleep. There are a lot of very young guests during summer months. Food/ Main Restaurant I personally didn’t struggle to eat any day Breakfast 7-10/30 was by far my best meal, with custom omelettes and freshly made eggs, great fresh fruit and a huge choice of pastries Lunch 12-2:30 was still pretty decent, with hot and cold options Dinner 7pm-9:30 The menu is themed: Monday - Greek Tuesday - Mexican Wednesday- Italian Thursday- Carvery Friday - Oriental Saturday - BBQ Sunday - Chef’s Buffet Your sweet tooth is catered for here from chocolate puddings, cakes and a hot baked selection each day. Service is flawless with super attentive staff taking your drinks orders at lunch and dinner. Liliana and Panos were great at remembering my drink of choice. The snack bar is very popular with almost everyone eating hot toasted sandwiches, burgers etc. special mention to Michael and all the team that work super hard in the heat on this bar. Drinks were free poured and always strong! Cold coffee, frappes are good too. Spa - Special mention to Zoe, Manos and Alice For the Divine Duet couples treatment Absolutely amazing

Well what can I say, myself & husband stayed here for 1 wk all inclusive, from the moment we arrived to leaving everything was just amazing and more. We upgraded to a deluxe sea view room, a bottle of wine & fresh fruit greeted us in the room. Plenty of space & spotless. Room cleaned daily, towels changed daily too. Food plenty to chose from different themes every night. Never felt over crowded in the dining room. I must give a massive shout out to Kristine she deserves a medal running the Pool & all the challenges that comes with doing that job kept calm every time. She deserves employee of the season. She spends time talking & engaging with everyone. We did use the spa and again would recommend visiting and having a treatment when there, facial was fantastic. My husband had a back & shoulder massage this was lovely, I think the beautician was Alice. Would we return to The Nestor 100% yes, currently looking at sorting dates for 2024.

6 of us stayed here from 28th October for 7 nights for my Dads 60th, firstly would like to thank the hotel for helping to organise the surprise in his room with a cake and a bottle of prosecco their email responses were fast and helpful and the staff made sure it happened so that was great. staff were great! reception team always willing to help no matter what the issue was, Paul was great when checking us in. I felt sorry for the day time entertainment team because you could see effort had gone into it but hardly anyone did anything, maybe because of the time of year and it wasn't that busy perhaps. however there was always something on during the day if you wanted to join in Firstly the hotel was stunning, me and my partner have travelled to a few good 4* hotels and this was right up there, I was shocked how good the price was considering for us in Birmingham it was still a school half-term (granted I expect it to be busier and more expensive in the summer months perhaps). Overall facilities were great we had sea view rooms which overlooked the pool also which were a nice touch, nobody was every really in the Lobby Bar inside so felt strange going in there, but the Pool bar was where the entertainment etc was so that was fine with lovely seating areas just further back up the steps. what I would say, as nice as the pool was it was by far the coldest pool I've stepped foot in, again granted it was October and I'm aware majority of outdoor pools abroad are cold however it was still around 30degrees and it was freezing so just a heads up. The posh beds that are built around the pool that you can see on the photos you have to pay for, I think the summer price was 20euros per day then October was 15 euros per day, you basically get waiter service, some ice cream and a fruit cocktail, you have a little remote which you can use to call over the waiter etc.. as of the 1st of November the beds are free even though I assume the hotel will shut soon after. One big thing the hotel need to sort out is the WIFI, in your room it is great, works perfectly (speaking for myself) however when you are in other areas of the hotel especially around the pool its shocking not even worth having it turned on, after about half a day I just started using my mobile data instead, definitely needs looking at. Hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels etc.. every day cleaning staff were also very friendly and happy to help. the fruit platter and bottle of wine was a nice touch also ( not sure if this was in every room) the sun loungers were also sprayed down every morning so nice a clean for the next person. The location was perfect, you are about a 9/10 minute taxi drive from Nissi beach which cost 15 euros for the 6 of us. you are pretty much right in the heart of Ayia Napa but as you're off the main road its still peaceful enough on the night which is great. The ***** starts at the end of the road and you have loads of bars/restaura

We requested double bed and first night 2 single beds in room 327. Bed type was confirmed prior to arrival. Outrageous that on day of checkout band cut off at l2 noon and no lunch or drinks without paying. This is the hotel policy and never experienced this anywhere else in Cyprus . Purely done as a way of saving money for the hotel. We could see people waiting for flights for 5 hours having no eating or drinking facilities unless they paid for them. All inclusive a total waste of money Brandy sour tasteless and very poor quality local spirits used. The baileys copy Irish knights was not drinkable The house wine also dry and not pleasant. Wasn't even told what this Was type of wine and where from etc. All the staff said was house wine !! If you want any branded spirits have to pay nearly 5 euros a shot . Most staff looked miserable and like they didn't want to be at the hotel. The only exception to this were the cleaning staff who worked hard and hotel spotless. The food was good quality and tasty but when it ran out was never replaced and replenished. Therefore had to eat early or lacked choice on some items. Will never visit hotel again and spend money with the issues as highlighted above. This is the first hotel where all inclusive stops at 12 Noon on day of departure. Last hotel served lunch and snacks and drinks until we left at 4 pm and checkout at 12 noon. Also could not see any snacks inbetween meals at all. If you email hotel through *********** don’t expect a reply. I did 3 times and oh no response .
