__WB226384****The room was great, and the breakfast was super rich. We ate there for five days straight, and it was fresh every day. The customer service manager, Xiao Fan, was very attentive and helpful. There was a shuttle bus for the concert, but I didn't take it. However, I saw the hotel sign outside the venue. It was so conspicuous, hahaha. It made me feel at ease just looking at it. The pool closes at 10:30 every day, and the kids go there for a swim every day. My parents were also very satisfied with the hotel's bedding. This is a very cost-effective hotel.

GGuest UserCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

WWRLeverything was perfect until the last moment. rooms were clean and staff were friendly. was prepared to give a perfect review until the breakfast before checking out. the staff in charge of the noodle station was poor. promised everyone to make noodles and went missing after leading to an extremely long line and when pushed by the manager, he begrudgingly came out and made the noodles with a poor attitude. spoilt the perfect experience. will still recommend this hotel as it is clean and comfortable.

GGuest UserMy stay here was truly fantastic! The hotel's service was incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel thoroughly looked after right from the moment I checked in. The front desk staff even proactively offered a complimentary room upgrade. The new room was spacious, bright, and well-appointed, with incredibly comfortable bedding that made it easy to relax instantly. Throughout my stay, every member of staff, from housekeeping to the restaurant team, consistently displayed genuine smiles and a thoughtful, caring attitude, which made me feel incredibly welcome and valued. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being just a few minutes' walk from Taiyuan South Railway Station. This stay completely exceeded my expectations, with the hotel's thoughtfulness and attention to detail evident in every aspect. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanxi!

GGuest UserThe hotel's geographical location is very advantageous, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding supporting facilities. It is very convenient to go to business districts, tourist attractions or restaurants. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, with simple and elegant decoration style. The bed is comfortable, the facilities in the room are all available, the bathroom is clean and tidy, the toiletries are complete and of high quality. The service staff of the hotel are warm and considerate. From the front desk reception at check-in, to the room service, to the restaurant staff, everyone is very professional. They respond to the guests' needs in a timely manner, making me feel like I am at home. The hotel's restaurant provides a wide variety of food choices. The quality and taste of the food are very good. I am very satisfied with the stay experience. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Taiyuan.

MM770881****This hotel is awesome! Great location, super close to the subway, super convenient travel. The front desk service is warm and the check-in is fast. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable and the sleep was sound. The bathroom has enough hot water and the toiletries are easy to use. There are many types of breakfast, fresh and delicious. Good sound insulation, quiet and not noisy. Check out is fast, the experience is great, come back next time!

GGuest UserI highly recommend staying at this hotel ! Its location is perfect for spending a day exploring the Jinci park's natural beauty and visiting nearby attractions like temples and mountains (3 mins walk to the park).
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hotel staff is helpful and attentive.

GGuest UserGo to Fangte to play at night, about 10 minutes drive from Fangte, self-driving can choose, health details need to pay attention, the sheets have not been changed, and the sheets have been changed again, breakfast is average, hot water, the room is quite big, and the living is quite comfortable.

WWinston-1I booked a suite at Shanxi Hotel. Oh boy, what a stay!!! The hotel looks like a courtyard. The receptionist and the bellboy were all very cordial. They carried my luggage to the room for free. Our room was in another building so they advised us we could check out without coming back to the reception desk again. Just leave the keys in the room. The room was quite spacious with lots of amenities. I am very surprised they offer in-room laundry detergent and electric cloth dryer for hanging clothes. They consider every aspect of my stay and I would give them 5 out of 5 stars.

BBinchongGood location, if you're in a room away from the noisy streets. Updated design, so some effort has gone in there.
Staff is functional and perfunctory; things get done. Not the most efficient, not the most welcoming. In fact, the worst i have encountered on this trip, but not terrible. Reminds me of some inns I have stayed in in rural China.
The one thing that makes this an absolute no-no is that despite the price I am paying, there is no air-conditioning. It is a central air-con system and they have deemed it is not warm enough to turn it on. Which makes the room a stuffy furnace. Advice was to turn on air purifier which is noisy through the whole night and doesn't really help. If I'm paying for a room, at least let me decide the room ventilation. If they want to sell to foreign guests, they should know this is a basic given as this is what we have come to expect in our hotel rooms.
So, strongly advice: NO!
