I booked this bungalow a long way in advance, and had to pay in advance. It was also theoretically not possible to change it but when I needed to move it forward one day they were very helpful. The site is very easy to find and though it’s in a busy industrial/retail area and not far from the airport it is really quite secluded and quiet. There is a degree of ambient noise but nothing to disturb you. The facilities are all very new and well maintained; as it’s a site for people with vans as well as bungalows there are good washing facilities as well as clothes washing which is very useful. At 6 euro a load it doesn’t look cheap but in fact the washers are large and the dryer was very efficient too. Reception seem very well organised and friendly. They supply transport tickets to get you to Venice which is really convenient. The bus is a few minutes’ walk away and though they can get very full (we always had to stand) you will get one within 15 minutes and then it’s less than 10 into the Venice bus station. The restaurant is very well priced and has a selection of interesting local dishes as well as pizza/pasta. Compared with what you pay in Venice itself it is really good value. Breakfast was included in our deal and though it was simple it included fresh espresso coffee, something a lot of hotels don’t seem to be able to do these days. The bungalow also seemed new, with hotel quality bathroom fittings and good hot water supply. It was a little compact even for 2 people (my husband bumped his head on the overbed cupboards twice the first evening) but it did have everything you needed squeezed in, though the kitchen was a little basic. There was a good fridge and a hob. A microwave would have been nice. There was a very basic supply of crockery and cutlery. It had a good size veranda and efficient AC. I particularly like that they supply bedlinen and towels, we only had to bring tea towels which is helpful when travelling. There is a good recycling policy. There is a small indoor pool which looked nice but which we didn’t really have time to use, it also frequently had a lot of kids in despite costing extra. Cars cannot be parked next to the bungalow but not far away and we were able to bring it next to the site when loading/unloading. There is also Parco San Giuliano ten minutes walk away, a huge area for walking and cycling and you can see Venice across the lagoon.

Great little camping, close to Venice well connected, quiet and top facilities. We stayed over Easter for a family break to visit Venice. There is a bus stop walking distance from the camping that takes you to the main square, Piazzale Roma.

We stayed here for three nights end of February to visit Venice. The facilities are excellent and the staff very nice and helpful. They gave us a map with all the info for getting into Venice using the bus which stops a few minutes from the campsite. We loved the pool and sauna, which was only €2.50 each to use, and we were the only people in there. The facilities block looks very new and was the best we’ve found on a campsite. Lovely showers and very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Despite the close proximity to Venice we had a terrible stay and experience. We were given pitch 136 which turned out to be right next to (2m away through a hedge) an ear deafening worksite with heavy EXTREMELY noisy metal grinding and construction from before 7am until late. Despite being physically unable to sit in the campsite due to noise and dust the management refused any form of price reduction or anything saying it wasn’t their problem. Will never return - there are other options to camp at, look at them first and save your ears and sinuses.

This campsite was an absolute find for us! It is clean, well maintained, pitches are lovely. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Toilets and showers modern and very clean. We ate in the restaurant twice, the food was absolutely delicious and priced very well. I couldn’t believe how cheap the campsite was considering its proximity to Venice. We used the bus to get into Venice and spent two wonderful days exploring. Highly recommend this site!

The village is located in what is really and industrial area but the campsite has been nicely created using trees and vegetation to make it attractive. It is in a great location for catching the number 19 or 5 bus straight over to Venice itself in about 5 minutes once on the bus. The bus tickets can be bought from reception and you can chose to add on boats to get you to Murano and Burano for example. We bought a 48 hr pass for all 4 of us and used it well to get everywhere. We didn’t use our campervan at all. We decided not to camp but booked a standard chalet room so that we could rest up a bit after camping. The standard chalets are 18square mtrs so not big but they are clean and functional. It was nice having a veranda to sit out on. I guess with all transient camp sites you will get the same issue but there was a good sprinkling of inconsiderate neighbours being noisy when we were trying to sleep. The chalets are packed close together. The campsite facilities are pretty basic in terms of the swimming pool etc. But to be fair we had probably been spoilt in the Dolomites just before arriving here. The reception staff were helpful and everything was easy. There was an overnighting area by reception. If you fancy a treat go to the Markt under The Venice Hotel and have a cocktail on their deck, right on the Grand canal. Just be prepared to pay around €29 each drink!! They were exceptional and you get the best location you could wish for. It was a good base for Venice.
