Travelodge Colchester Feering

A simple, convenient hotel in a good location, perfect for a quick stop over or for a business trip.

The staff were lovely friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and peaceful and I had everything I needed it was nice to have a few places next to the front to eat ..the manager was really nice my only bad point is that if you don't drive be prepared for the taxi drivers to completely rip you off I had to phone about 10 cab companies to eventually get a cab to the station 2 mins cost me £22 but that is not the hotels fault

Rooms tidy , cleaners didn't wake us as working nights. Getting in at 5 or 6 in the morning nice to see a cheery face behind the reception especially charlie. Asked us when we came in if we needed anything as stayed a few nights. Even joked with us as beingbthe santas crew as we were putting up xmas lights.

We stayed overnight as was meeting up with friends. The reviews were a little dubious but we had a great time. Room was clean and fresh. Its on a main road so was expecting noise but it was not bad at all. Hotel seemed quite busy, staff helpful. Would stay again

The manager of this establishment should be ashamed I had the displeasure of speaking to her when requesting to be moved room. The bed sheets are clean the floors are visibly stained bring some flip flips or your feet turn black in seconds. Leave un needed belongings in your car to prevent smell of damp.

We had a one night stay and found the Travelodge to be clean and tidy, and our room was quiet and airy overlooking a bit of garden and fields. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a kettle and plenty of tea and sugar in the room. The little bathroom was perfectly adequate and very clean.
