Amazing quality of service + Amazing tradicional zone by the small river + quiet zone + lovely family.
Staying here we felt like staying at home. The owner was super sweet and treated us as a member of the family taking care of us being in each detail such as giving an umbrella if it was raining and beautiful details like that.
The communication was not an issue at all. As soon as we arrived we started communicating using WeChat and it's translations so everything was super smooth. Eery hotel should add her example :)
The place is a traditional building from outside. Each room having private toilet Asian style we loved it, air conditioner, and nice room space to stay inside even in rainy days with view to the highest pagoda or the river depending your room.
Nearby you will find a big supermarket 200m away (sunshine) and little stores for buying good and cheap food.
Every single attraction is 500m away.
The best place and the best service by far in our whole trip in china during 3 weeks. For sure will come back here without hesitation and truly recommend to anyone desiring to have a nice stay in the beautiful city of fenghuang.

It is very close to Nanliduo bus station if you coming from Fenghuang station using the bus. Since we arrive by maglev, there is no Didi or taxi and it's a fair walk to reach the inn. It's in the quiet side and away from noisiness of bars along the river, so we had very nice sleep. The owner is responsive via wechat. The room bit small with Chinese (squating) toilet but it's adequate for one night stay to enjoy the Fenghuang. And the price value for money

The room was exactly the same as advertised and the lady was really nice. She came to greet us after we got off from the local cab, and helps us to get one after checkout. She was our saviour as Didi was practically useless here, they rely on cab. The location is near to pheonix gate, not on the main river which offer a quiet night and tranquility. Because of the location, it also near to outside of ancient town where u can find shops, retails, restaurants etc etc. If u are looking for halal food, the nearest is located at juyuan road, less than 1km walk.

Nice stay. Great room. Free upgrade to a bigger room in an opp building as their building was under reno.
Hot water shower was good. Electric warmer for the bed was provided which was a nice touch during winter.
Not in the centre of the town but very nearby, so peaceful neighbourhood and a good sleep.
Female boss was very amiable and helpful. She carried my luggage up to 2nd floor. As it was a homestay, their family was there at the living aread which was a nice sight. Local living.
Good for bagpackers or light luggages as this town has uneven flooring for heavy luggages.
Can return to stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Clean and comfortable. Location is great as it's near to everything there is to see in the town but also good for restaurants, shops and transportation in and out the city. The host was great and accommodating to our needs. We definitely recommend it!

I would like to thank the lady owner who was very friendly and extremely helpful. She picked us up at the Nanhuali Tourist Center and it only took us several minutes to walk to the hotel. The location is excellent, several steps from the stop of the bus running between the city center and the Fenghuangcheng train station, a step away from the city center. The lady helped us with the city attraction tickets and quite affordable taxi to the Southern China Wall. My phone broke down and she did her outmost to help me out. As I lost my wechat she helped me contact my next hotel. I stronly recommend this place as the owner takes great care of her guests. I stayed at the Romantic Tatami Room. We really enjoyed our stay at Fenghuang.
