HanTing Hotel (Fenghuang Ancient Town)

Absolutely loved this place! It's located right on the riverbank, with a small alley providing direct access to the river. A pleasant 10-minute stroll along the riverside path leads you to the liveliest part of the old town, and the views along the way are quite charming. Plus, Shen Congwen's tomb is visible on the small hill directly opposite! The rooms are fully equipped and comfortable. I heard they even offer complimentary laundry service, which I unfortunately didn't get a chance to use. The staff were exceptionally polite; they offered chrysanthemum honey tea upon arrival and even gave us bottled water when we checked out. Breakfast was served at a partner restaurant located just behind the main building, and I was very satisfied with it, especially since you could enjoy lovely river views while eating! The price was also very reasonable. Compared to some guesthouses I stayed at just a few days earlier, this place was incomparably better!

The breakfast selection was decent, and it was very quiet at night. It's a bit of a distance from Hongqiao, about a 20-minute walk. Parking is conveniently located right across from the hotel.

The hotel is super close to Fenghuang Ancient City, just a short walk away, which is incredibly convenient! The staff at the front desk were so warm and friendly. Our room was very clean, and it definitely offered great value for money.
