Quality Inn & Suites Burnham, PA

In brief, we arrived, checked in and found our room's AC was turned off. We turned it on and waited a couple hours trying to relax. Finding no AC was coming, I asked for a second room. I was told that a) it was hard to get into another room because the key making device was broken and it would take a while to make a new key and b) it was unlikely it would have AC. We asked for a refund and was told they couldn't do it; refunds have to come from Quality Inn Corp. I talked to customer service and was assured I would not be charged for the night. Found out not only was I charged but when I called to ask for the refund again was told that QI Corp could not do the refund and the hotel desk manager could not issue it either. Only the manager who would be in "probably tomorrow" could. Also, as we were in the room for more than hour, he believed we should pay for the room. Last stay there. Last stay at a Quality Inn.

I was not impressed! When I was asked to share my feedback on a survey they sent me after my stay, I provided my thoughts. The next day I got an insulting email from the general manager at the hotel making me feel bad for my feedback, adding insult to injury. Do not stay here, stay anywhere else!!

This was a basic hotel that met my needs for a night. The exterior looked a bit rundown. But the room was clean. I did like the flooring because it felt more sanitary than carpeting. The bathroom was clean as well, besides the tiny spider that wanted to shower with me. He survived 2 showers. The bed was comfortable as well. I think this is a decent hotel for travelers and short stays.

The worst hotel I ever been at in my life this place needs to be shut down all the employees are nasty and mean except for the night guy who walks around the hotel at overnight…They harassed my wife all day while I was a work they took our money and kicked my wife out while I’m still at work now I had no place to come back to after work the manager needs to be fired asap if I didn’t have a great job I would have dragged him across the parking lot when I got back

Definitely outdated accommodations , nothing worked right including the A/C. Complained to the assistant manager and was told I could get my money back to go somewhere else. I was told no one on property available to look at my unit and was offered a box fan with a 1/4 layer lint all over it ?This was second time I was bitten by this hotel definitely will not stay there again. The pictures on the website definitely do not look they are from that location. Room was filthy, customer service none existent!

Worst place to stay in Mifflin Co. The rooms stunk, haven't updated in decades, breakfast was cold eggs and sausages in water for two days. Then, they were out of eggs and sausage - also out of milk! We were told to get another hotel if we didn't like this. But my mom was in the hospital and this was the closest hotel because Super 8 was closed. Nasty .... to the max. Paid for amenities that didn't exist. It's creepy and should be torn down or have a MAJOR renovation. Needed to extend stay 2 days .... they said they had NO ROOM. Over 150 rooms, about 3 rooms occupied but no rooms available??? *** Disgusting. ALSO ... in 5 days NO clean towels, no room pick up .... NOTHING! Had to ask for extra towels and had to empty our own garbage!!! SERIOUSLY ...... GO SOME PLACE ELSE!!!
