Valla Beach Holiday Park

Had a nice stay here, the staff were extremely kind and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and every request was followed up straight away, from having more tea/coffee to clean towels and a change of sheets (we stayed 10 days). Our cabin was new and well appointed, had wifi and overlooked parkland towards the bridge over the creek. A five minute walk put us on the beach. Native wildlife flew in constantly. A tucker trailer with good coffee and takeaway food was also a pleasing bonus I didn't expect. It was a busy holiday weekend and so kids were playing outside from about 7 AM but it's a caravan park and it's to be expected. I like the location of the cabins as they are at the beginning of a one-way access road so those leaving with noisy 4WDs towing boats to go fishing didn't affect us at all. I highly recommend staying at Valla Beach.

Having read a lot of reviews saying how outdated the cabins are I do agree, but I am already planning our family's next stay there. The price was so affordable compared to other parks with updated cabins and more facilities. As we were so close to both the inlet for fishing and the beach for swimming I wouldn't have had time to use the facilities. Although not new, our cabin was perfectly comfortable with the bathroom, kitchenette and TV all working well. If you want to pay the extra for all the bells and whistles by all means do so, but I will never understand who needs them when you're in a location such as this. Even on the day it rained Nambucca Heads was a short drive with enough to keep us entertained all day. I can't recommend this park highly enough and just hope they don't upgrade it out of my price range.
