We have stayed as a couple for two days and Khalid first contacted us days before our arrival asking if we needed anything. He advised us and helped us with something like arriving at the Riad from the airport or acquiring a sim card to have internet in Fez. He is very friendly and helpful and that is appreciated. We spoke with him in English. As for the Riad, it is in a very good location in Fez, just 3-4 minutes walk from the Blue Door (Bab Boujlaud) which is the most well-known and main entrance door of the Medina. It is also located about 50 meters from one of the main streets so it is quiet and at the same time it is next to the coming and going of people and access to eat or buy something if you need it almost at any time. Being close to the main street Talaa Kabira also makes it somewhat easier in the always labyrinthine Medina of Fez. If you rent a car there is also a very large area, an esplanade, very close for parking next to the aforementioned door, where you can park all day for about 15 dh (1.5 €). The accommodation is familiar and the typical Riad with a central patio and surrounding rooms on one or more floors. It is not a very big Riad. Only 4 rooms but it is cosy, quiet and always with the figure of Khalid to help you. They also offer you the possibility of eating at the Riad (they offer you a menu that you decide if you want to eat there too). In short, recommended!
