The Museum Apartments

I've just returned after almost a week in Apartment 2A. It really is awesome! The apartment style is quite minimalist, which I like. The bedroom has a really comfortable big bed, decent wardrobe space and a small safe. The open plan kitchen / dining / living area has all the basics, although I would have liked a wee starter pack with some milk, sugar and oil just to make the first day a little more comfortable. The heating was effective too. Outdoors, there are two balconies overlooking the museum square and a huge terrace, with loungers, tables and chairs, overlooking both the square and the museum courtyard garden. Fabulous, and it would be even better in the summer months! There were a few problems in my first 24 hours - the key code, lack of hot water and a problem with programming the door card - but the management / owners dealt with these very professionally, calmly and quickly and I was really impressed with their approach and communication. There are lots of lovely eating places within a few minutes walk, the area is busy and felt very safe. Lots of reviews mention the bell tower, so I was a little worried about the noise. The bells didn't wake me at all, I'm glad to say.

Incredible place to stay if you are in Figueres to visit the Dali Theater Museum! It is literally next door. We stayed in room 3B the first night. It was lovely - clean, well appointed, comfortable. The real treat was room 2A. The balconies and terrace are incredible! They literally overlook the museum and the plaza. We loved sitting on the terrace with a bottle of wine watching people and listening to the joyous sounds of happy locals and travelers. The staff communicated really well through WhatsApp and were so helpful, even moving our bags for us when we changed rooms. Fair warning, this area is noisy. The church is directly across the plaza and the bells ring every 15 minutes. The bar down the street is very lively and the.music was bumping until 1 am Saturday night. We loved it and it didn't bother us or keep us from getting a good night rest, but recognize it might be tough for some.

The apartment itself is clean and minimal with basic amenities. However as many others have stated it is difficult to get a good nights sleep due the constant ringing of the bells from the cathedral right next door. For that reason I would not recommend

Fantastic location for Dali museum. Very nice apartment and very clean. However, there is a clock tower on this square with a very loud bell that is rung every 15 minutes and it goes on all through the night. I was waiting for it to stop at around 10, 11 or 12 pm - bit it didn’t - it kept going ALL NIGHT. I struggled to get any sleep with it’s loud ringing. Keep this in mind if you’re ruining of staying here. It is though an amazing location for the museum.

This is very much my sort of place, slightly modern with tonnes of space and a place to do laundry and a small fridge. Bu as a few others have mentioned the ringing of the bells all night long is just bonkers. Even with earplugs our group of 7 couples had seriously disrupted sleeps. Such a shame becuase I really liked this place otherwise.

Just awesome. Location. Character. Space. Facility. Cleanliness and super staff. We stayed in 2B. What’s a space. Amazing views and ambiance - we could stay for longer and live like kings. So close to the action of Figueres. Stay here over anywhere else.

Beautiful setting, as part of the Dali Museum. Instructions for gaining access and car parking were also very good; however, more details should be given re exactly where the car parking is located and on exactly which level to park. The heat was very inconsistent and was too hot in the main living area, while being just right in the sleeping area. We would also have wished for some basic staples, such as salt and pepper and perhaps a roll of paper towels.

the Museum Apartments is fabulous, beautiful, modern, and you could say it is inside the Dali Museum. Very well decorated. Everything is very easy and very practical. they booked our parking and our tickets for the museum. The check in AUTONOMO is also easy and practical.

The apartment’s location is perfect in many respects: next to the Dali museum, and a stroll to cafes, restaurants and shops. We were also impressed with the accommodation: it was very clean, spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and a good shower. However, as others have mentioned, sleep is elusive as the bells from the cathedral ring out throughout the night, every quarter hour. Even when wearing ear plugs it was difficult both to get to sleep and to stay asleep. If you are a heavy sleeper then this is a great place to stay, otherwise, regrettably, I cannot recommend it.
