Caldera's Bliss Suites

We came to Santorini with high expectations for a memorable stay, but this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The room looks nothing like the promotional photos. There was nobody at the front desk upon arrival; everything was handled remotely via phone calls with very poor attention and zero hospitality. Cleanliness was unacceptable. When we checked in, the hot tub had dirty water with hairs in it. Even though we asked them to clean it, the whole situation was disgusting. The bed sheets, blankets, bathroom, and sink all felt dirty and severely lacked basic maintenance. The Caldera view is indeed nice, but it definitely does not make up for the awful conditions and poor service. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

The views were the only redeeming feature of this location. Very dirty, clearly zero maintenance, spa filthy and no amenities. Not only dirty throughout but strong musty, mouldy smell. Also be warned that loud music is playing from 11-4am from the nightclub above, terrible sleep quality. No support or help available. Expensive, poor value for money. Avoid!!!!!!

First off, when you book this place, there is no follow up information like where it is located. We dragged our luggage all around the cobblestone alleys and the location is wrong on Google Maps and nobody knew where it was (red flag). We finally found it and the guy was just a random dude that checks you in, gives you a key and you can never contact him again. Secondly, we booked a room with a jacuzzi and “no sea view” assuming that we would just have a city view. Nope, we literally did not have a window (although the guy that checked us in would say we had a window) it was a 1x1.5ft shutter looking into the hallway. The jacuzzi did look like the water was (hopefully) just changed, but there is no filtration system. The room smelled musty and moldy from the dampness of the jacuzzi. The bathroom would get so hot and humid and stinky we left the door shut, but then the room was so cold at night and the bed only had a thin sheet so we were freezing. Lastly, the location seemed to be great until we were trying to sleep and it is located near 3 nightclubs that are bumping music until 5am! Do NOT stay here.

We have just turned up here for 3 nights, we stayed 1 night then booked somewhere else, the suites is not staffed, someone just basically randomly turns up to let you in the room, the phone numbers don’t work. The room was scruffy and dirty. The man that let us in wasn’t interested in helping resolve issues, offered us an upgraded room for an extra £300 a night. The room had a cold dirty jacuzzi pool inside the room with a dirty scum line around the water level line, no balcony as shown in booking photo, it smelled and was an eyesore. The shower trap hadn’t been cleaned out, so overflowed over your ankles while showering. Another small negative is The restaurant above tables and chairs screeching till late

Firstly, I can confirm the location is perfect and the view is spectacular otherwise this review would have been even more negative. The coffee cups and glass tumblers all had residue suggesting they were unwashed. The spa was full but the water was dirty with long black hairs throughout. In addition, the shower hand piece also had hair in the water outlets. Definitely killed the mood.

Just left from our one night in this beautiful apartment. Had a great experience. We spent the night in the hot tub while watching the view. The landlord was a really sweet woman who made us feel welcomed and also told us many places that we should go visit.
