Hotel Fiuggi Terme Resort & Spa

English: I stayed in this hotel from February 28 to March 3, 2025 with my family, requesting a wheelchair accessible room via email in advance, after their confirmation I made the reservation, but unfortunately when we arrived on site we found that the room was not accessible: shower tray that had a step of about 20cm, the bidet next to the toilet, which did not allow the wheelchair to be placed next to it, lack of a shower head on the side of the toilet, lack of handles, basically the bathroom absolutely cannot be defined as a BATHROOM ACCESSIBLE TO A DISABLED PERSON WITH REDUCED MOTOR ABILITIES!!! They proposed a second room .... The bathroom situation was the same ... I had to wash myself with a thousand difficulties and with the help of my wife and daughter in the bathtub which was also not adequate. An outdoor space with reserved parking, the SPA has only the accessible Turkish bath. We also gave up half board because the food offered was not quality !! Very kind and helpful staff !! I believe that the hotel cannot be defined as a 4 star!! Furthermore, they did not have the foresight, after repeated reports, not to charge the tourist tax as required by law!!

I have stayed three times in this hotel, the first time with friends booking directly through booking and the second with hotiday, everything went well. This weekend I bought a room through hotiday to use the spa like the other times, in the evening hours as indicated on the website 21-24 on Friday and Saturday. Precisely because my arrival was scheduled for the evening of Friday and I booked the previous Monday, I did not bother to personally call the hotel to ask for confirmation of what they write on their website in reference to the times and information of the spa, also because last time the operators replied that they would contact me to make the reservation for the spa time slot and guarantee me the one I wanted. So I receive an email with the available time slots and there is no evening one, so I call the hotel and ask for explanations, initially I am told that the spa is full for Friday and unfortunately they cannot insert other people and that therefore I should have chosen other time slots. I explain that this is an inconvenience because my scheduled arrival time is in the evening and that the next day I had other plans and the spa was not included, I am told that unfortunately it is not their problem because they make the time slots available on the day of arrival but I am not there. I explain that it is due to the fact that we finish work late and that for this very reason I set my check in at 7 pm and that at this point my reservation becomes useless even though I contacted them almost a week before and I am told that I can make the morning time slot 9-12. In the meantime I call Hotiday who tells me that unfortunately they can only move the date of my stay because they do not take care of the spa. I call the hotel again and tell them that I confirm my reservation but I ask for the evening spa and this time they tell me that it is not true that it is full but simply that they have removed it on Friday, at that point I am surprised because one day they tell me that it is full and one day that it is closed so I point out that the times indicated are on the website and that only later are the correct slots communicated. So not knowing what to do other than move the tourist visit that I had planned on Saturday morning and we decide to go at that time when the family spa with children also falls within but they reassure me to stay calm because in the spa you have to maintain a certain behavior. The next day we arrive at the spa and after a few minutes we find an atmosphere that is anything but serene and relaxing, children who are noisy and it seems like being in a water playground, even in the sauna you could hear the screams. I go to the spa reception and explain to the operator that in addition to the incorrect information I had also been told that a certain behavior is observed in the spa which is not happening and it is not a relaxing environment and I am told that unfortunately they do not know what to do
