Résidence Pierre & Vacances Premium les Terrasses d'Eos

We stayed at this hotel previously in January on a skiing holiday booked through Crystal. We wanted to see Flaine in the summer so decided to come back. In January we had a few niggly comments about lack of storage, however this visit we had a renovated room that had plenty of useful storage. There were definite improvements. The beds were also much more comfortable than our previous visit. I honestly cannot find a single fault with this hotel now. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots on English tv channels. Easy to cook meals in the kitchen. A lovely little walk down into Flaine (much easier without snow!) The staff were so friendly and helpful and greeted us with smiles everytime. The pastry delivery service is great. We will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful week at Eos. The apartments are comfortable and have everything you need. The pool area was fab but I’m not sure how cold it may be earlier in the season. We were there the first week of April and the ski in disappeared, but, it was still only a very short walk to the run at the back of the apartments. We had a child in ski lessons and therefore would probably go to Helios in the future to avoid the walk up the hill each morning to esf helios lessons, but, this wasn’t a big deal. It’s quite a way to forum/foret if walking in skis and the buses are not that reliable as don’t seem to run to the timetable. It’s a shame the restaurant in site isn’t more of a feature. It would be great to be able to get a drink and sit outside after a day skiing. The apres ski marshmallows and hot chocolate was a hit with our kids!

These are great apartments, so much so that we came back again for the second year in succession. Friendly, helpful reception team. Well furnished and spacious apartments, with everything you need. Ski-in/out direct from the ski locker room. Free bus stop on the road outside, with a free shuttle van after 6:00pm to take you down and back up from the village (or a 12min walk down and 20 mins back up). Lovely warm outdoor swimming pool and indoor spa area and gym. There is a Spar shop 5mins walk away in the sister apartment block, which is well stocked, or another bigger one on the way down to the village. So if you don't mind, or even want to be just outside the village area (with easy access if you do), I can definitely recommend these apartments.

When we first arrived at the hotel, our first impressions weren't great, but this improved as the week went on. Check in was efficient, but we could see into the restaurant and noticed lots of glasses and plates all over the place that hadn't been cleaned away. It's just not a nice welcome. We actually didn't visit the bar/ restaurant our whole stay which is unusual for us, but I put this down to the first impression (and the fact it is really expensive). Then on arrival at the room, there just isn't a huge amount of storage. It's mostly small hanging space and then an odd shelf. The second bedroom literally just has one small hanging space wardrobe which would have been a problem if we were all adults sharing. The mattresses were very firm, but I can confirm the sofa is very comfy for sleeping if you struggle with firm beds! You could also hear a lot of outside noise which was mainly people clearing the paths and roads in the night. This might all sound negative, but it was generally clean and the apartment worked well for us as a family of 4 once we got over the lack of storage. Access from the ski runs into the hotel was brilliant and we were close to the ski lockers which was nice. It was generally easy to get around but annoying when Gerats chair lift broke down as it's much harder getting back with skis then as you are reliant on the buses or a bit of a walk. The main selling point for this hotel though is the incredible views. Simply breathtaking. The pool was also lovely with the views too. We have booked to go back in the summer to explore the mountains without snow, so despite the negatives it wouldn't stop me from recommending but just go prepared!

Considering this is 5 star it definitely doesn’t feel like it. The rooms are filthy, not enough towels, radiators leaking, shower fittings broken and curtains hanging off the rails. Someone needs to go in and check everything in these rooms because it appeared no one had inspected the rooms for a significant period of time

Beautiful apartment, with fantastic views. Loved the ski in, ski out location. Great pool to relax after skiing. Although it did get very busy. Convenience store at the Helios apartments on the ski route home, fun to pick up some supplies on ski’s! You can order French bread and pastries from reception for daily breakfast and packed lunch. After the ski bus has stopped for the day, the hotel offers a free taxi to take you into and return from town, great service. We loved our stay.
